The fourth and final season of Apple TV+’s blockbuster horror series Servant is rapidly approaching, and the streaming service has recently published a cryptic video that has viewers wondering what will happen. Tony Basgallop conceived the series, while M. Night Shyamalan is an executive producer and showrunner and director of many episodes.
In the first season of Servant, Sean Turner (Toby Kebbel) recruited a new nanny named Leanne to take care of a doll baby, and this trailer transports us back to that time. After the death of their real kid, Dorothy (Lauren Ambrose) and her husband resort to using a doll baby to help her cope with her sorrow.
But soon after Leanne arrives at the Turner home, the doll transforms into a real baby. We’ve seen Leanne’s abilities develop, discovered that she has ties to a murderous cult, and pondered the identity of infant Jericho in the time since then. It’s a crazy tale worthy of Shyamalan’s reputation, and the previews assure us that things will only become stranger until we finally find some resolution. Over the course of three seasons, we’ve seen Leanne transform from a timid woman into a powerful force, and her true potential is yet unknown. In spite of this, the new trailer emphasises Leanne’s increased certainty that nothing can stop her and that the streets may be stained with blood before the conflict with the cult is finally ended.
After that startling Season 3 end, the premise for Season 4 adds even more anxiety by suggesting that Dorothy may still be alive. Rupert Grint returns in Season 4 of Servant. M. Night Shyamalan, Ishana Night Shyamalan, Carlo Mirabella-Davis, Dylan Holmes, Celine Held & Logan George, Kitty Green, Nimrod Antal, and Veronika Franz & Severin Fiala are only a few of the filmmakers that worked on the previous season. Several talented people, including Ishana Night Shyamalan, Alyssa Clark, Laura Marks, Devin Conroy, Henry Chaisson, Amy Louise Johnson, and Kara Lee Corthon, contributed to the last season’s script. On January 13, Season 4 of Servant will debut on Apple TV+.
