Screen Rant confirms the December Blu-ray and DVD release of Season 6 of Better Call Saul. With the season’s conclusion, we say goodbye to Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), a con artist who pretends to study law but ends up becoming the corrupt legal defender Saul Goodman. The show is a precursor to many of the key characters from Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad and also a spinoff from that show. In August of this year, AMC broadcast the final episode of the critically acclaimed prequel series Better Call Saul. Better Call Saul jumped around in time, expanding the Breaking Bad universe while still being its own plot. Season 6 was especially moving because it was the series finale and viewers found out what happened to their favourite characters.
With seven Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Odenkirk, & Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Rhea Seehorn, the most recent season of Better Call Saul was not only popular with viewers but also highly regarded by the industry’s experts. This proves why Season 6 of Better Call Saul is a must-have for any fan’s DVD library. The Season 6 Blu-ray and DVD of Better Call Saul, like any solid disc release, is packed with bonus features and extras for viewers. Each episode also comes with a commentary track, so viewers can watch the show while hearing what the actors and crew had to say about the making of that particular moment.
The last season’s DVD release includes making-of featurettes, so fans may gain insight into the production process behind the show’s excellence. Showrunners Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan are responsible for Better Call Saul, and they are joined as EPs by Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Thomas Schnauz, Gordon Smith, Alison Tatlock, Diane Mercer, and Michael Morris. The show also stars Jonathan Banks, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Tony Dalton, and Giancarlo Esposito in addition to Odenkirk. On December 6th, Season 6 of Better Call Saul will be released on Blu-ray and DVD. For more on Season 6 and what happened to Saul Goodman, read our interview with actor Bob Odenkirk.
