Full Circle, a Limited Series Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Casts Claire Danes

According to Deadline, Claire Danes and Zazie Beetz will play the leads in the upcoming limited series Full Circle on HBO Max. She will reportedly portray a lawyer in Manhattan who takes over her family’s firm after her father’s death. Beetz’s role as a USPS inspector has been discussed at length. Writer Ed Solomon and director Steven Soderbergh are behind the limited series. No Sudden Move, an HBO Max period criminal thriller starring Don Cheadle, Benicio del Toro, David Harbour, Jon Hamm, Amy Seimetz, and Brendan Fraser, reunites the team with its producer, Casey Silver.

Soderbergh will helm, and he and Solomon and Silver will serve as executive producers. The six-part series is being billed as a drama about a failed kidnapping in modern-day New York that reveals the hidden bonds between a diverse cast of individuals and cultures. An earlier description of the limited series by the filmmaker described it as “even by Ed’s standards a complicated tale that manages to be both kaleidoscopic and personal.” With Danes and Beetz in the lead roles, it will be exciting to see how this multifaceted story of human connection develops. Danes are well-known for her role as CIA agent Carrie Mathison in the spy drama Homeland, which airs on Showtime.

For her work over the course of eight seasons, she was honoured with two Emmys, three Golden Globes, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Another Emmy, a SAG Award, and a Golden Globe were all won by her for her work on HBO’s Temple Grandin. She most recently appeared in The Essex Serpent on Apple TV+ and will next be seen in Fleishman Is In Trouble on FX. A Kid Like Jake, Master of None, Stardust, and other films are among the many she has acted in. Soderbergh’s multi-year overall arrangement with HBO and HBO Max includes a first-look deal for films and involves the production of Full Circle.

The filmmaker is responsible for the Netflix comedies Let Them All Talk and No Sudden Move, both of which star Meryl Streep, Dianne Wiest, Candice Bergen, Lucas Hedges, and Gemma Chan. He also serves as an executive producer for the HBO Max documentary series The Real Magic Mike. The excitement around the limited series is well-founded, what with Soderbergh at the helm and a great ensemble already locked in. Readers may feel guaranteed that Full Circle will have plenty of unexpected turns.
At this time, there is no more information available regarding the project.
