‘Babylon’ starring Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt, Synopsis, Cast, Release Date & Everything you need to know

The question is, “How much is too much?” According to the new Old Hollywood epic directed by Damien Chazelle, Babylon, there is no such thing. The fresh first-look photographs for the film were recently revealed by Vanity Fair, so you can take a peek at all the glitz for yourself. On December 25, 2022, a limited theatrical release of Babylon is scheduled. As on January 6, 2023, a wide theatrical rollout will commence. The latest photographs, revealed today, show the film’s stars, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, along with the other actors, all dressed up in long smokes and sharply tailored attire. The first picture is of a spectacular celebration that almost overwhelms the viewer’s senses.

Margot Robbie wears a crimson dress and is being carried by the mob as papier-mâché heads hover above them and streamers litter the ground. The first glimpse at Brad Pitt in his role as Hollywood superstar Jack Conrad is provided by another photograph. He’s seated on a leather couch with Diego Calva, who’s dressed as Manny Torres, and he’s wearing a thin moustache. He offers Manny a glass of champagne as he gapes at the spectacular performance above them.

One more picture shows Nellie LaRoy (Margot Robbie) passed out on the floor, cigarette in mouth, and surrounded by fans. “[t]he fundamental concept was just to do a large, epic, multi-character movie,” director Damien Chazelle said of the picture. “[t]he film is set in the early days of Los Angeles and Hollywood, when both of these entities were developing into what we now think of them as.”

The story takes place in 1920s Hollywood and centres on the upheaval caused by the industry’s shift from silent to talking pictures. Chazelle has said, “Everything is moving beneath people’s feet,” adding, “and I got very captivated by the human cost of disruption of that magnitude, at a period when there was no road map when everything was just fresh and wild.” Even though Robbie plays Nellie LaRoy, and Pitt plays Conrad, the film will focus on other characters as well. Instead, the film will follow a diverse group of people as they struggle to maintain or improve their standing in a field that is built on sand. Jean Smart and Tobey Maguire are among the many other actors in the picture. On December 25th, 2022, Babylon will have a limited release. On January 6, 2023, the film will begin its broad distribution.
