The fourth season of “Harley Quinn” has been picked up by HBO Max

Before the conclusion of Season 3, HBO Max renewed Harley Quinn for a fourth season. Several films and television projects were recently scrapped as part of Warner Bros. Discovery’s slate restructuring. The DC animated adult series Harley Quinn, voiced by Kaley Cuoco, follows the title character as she breaks free of a toxic relationship with The Joker (Alan Tudyk) and struggles to find her own identity.

Harley and Ivy (voiced by Lake Bell) are the sweetest duos a bawdy and gory comedy could possibly feature, and Season 3 is exploring their newly developed love. With three seasons under its belt, Harley Quinn has proven to be a critical success, but fans were worried about the show’s future when Warner Bros. Discovery spearheaded a purge of HBO Max. Newer projects, like Batman: Caped Crusader, were totally cancelled before they ever aired, while older DC cartoons like Young Justice were not renewed for further seasons. Even though Warner Bros. Animation had registered a fourth season of the Harley Quinn series, its future had been unclear due to the company’s complete reorganisation of its DC schedule around a 10-year plan.

Good news: Season 4 of Harlivy promises more of DC’s most imaginative stories yet. In light of the renewal, Billy Wee, HBO Max’s Sr. VP of Comedy & Animation, has said:
To quote the producers: “[Creators] Patrick Schumacker and Justin Halpern and their great team of artists and writers have produced something so explosively funny and creative, and we are pleased to continue this adventure with them and the show’s army of fans. It’s been incredible to see the show develop and mature this season, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with. Also, Peter Girardi, EVP of Alternative Programming at Warner Bros. Animation, said: As the show’s third season concludes, we hear, “I can’t even begin to fathom of the new levels of craziness and mischief that Harley, Ivy, and the group can get into with the fourth season. In any case, I’m thankful to our friends at HBO Max for staying on this wild voyage with us.

As a conclusion, Halpern and Schumacker, the show’s executive producers, said: We couldn’t be more thrilled that HBO Max has decided to keep telling Harley and Ivy’s tale. Even more exciting is the fact that Sarah Peters will be returning as showrunner and Ceci Aranovich will be in charge of animation production for the upcoming season; both women have been tremendously influential to the programme from the very beginning.

In addition to Tudyk as Clayface, Tony Hale as Doctor Psycho, Ron Funches as King Shark, Jason Alexander as Sy Borgman, J.B. Smoove as Frank the Plant, and James Adomian as Bane all provide their voices to the third season of Harley Quinn. Moreover, Diedrich Bader as Batman, Chris Meloni as Commissioner Gordon, Sanaa Lathan as Catwoman, Briana Cuoco as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, and Harvey Guillén as Nightwing all make appearances this season as guest stars. Sarah Peters, a regular contributor to the programme, will take on the additional roles of executive producer and showrunner for Season 4. Harley Quinn season premieres on HBO Max every Thursday. On September 15th, Season 3 will come to a close. Even though a premiere date for Season 4 has not been set, a new poster has been released to mark the occasion.
