The first promo for the Season 5 premiere of Yellowstone has been published by Paramount Network. Brief as it is, the new teaser titled “All Will Be Revealed” reunites us with the Dutton family, who are all showing signs of stress after the spectacular Season 4 conclusion, including Rip (Cole Hauser) preparing a pistol for what’s to come. On November 13, there will be a two-hour premiere event for the return of the series. A series marathon including all four seasons of the number one cable programme will take place from Friday, September 2 through Monday, September 5, so this new teaser arrives just in time. The marathons will begin daily at 11 AM ET/PT. Season 5 will have the most episodes of any season so far, clocking in at 14.
Beginning in 2018, Yellowstone has been a critical and commercial success with its four seasons, the most recent of which had the largest cable premiere ever with over 14 million people. There were more than 10 million people who watched the season four finale. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and his family own the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, often known as The Yellowstone, the biggest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. The show was co-created by Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, Hell or High Water, Sicario), who was nominated for an Oscar, and John Linson.
This ranch is always at odds with the growing town and Indian reserve next door as well as cutthroat commercial rivals. The story follows the characters as they navigate the shifting friendships, unresolved killings, fresh scars, and hard-earned respect that emerge from their time at the ranch’s namesake. Sheridan and Linson have double roles on the show, as they are also executive producers. The series’ popularity has led to the creation of a parallel Neo-Western world, with the upcoming Paramount+ series 1923 starring Dame Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford slated to debut in December. In addition to Costner and Hauser, Yellowstone boasts an impressive all-star ensemble cast, including Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Finn Little, Ryan Bingham, and Gil Birmingham, with Mo, Brings Plenty, Wendy Moniz, Jen Landon, and Kathryn Kelly promoted to series regulars.
In addition to Jacki Weaver, Kylie Rogers, and Kyle Red Silverstein, the forthcoming season will also include the return of Josh Lucas as young John Dutton, as well as the addition of Kai Caster, Lainey Wilson, Lilli Kay, and Dawn Olivieri to the already stellar group. Costner, Sheridan, and Linson are not the only people behind the show’s success; Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, and Stephen Kay are also executive producers. 101 Studios and MTV Entertainment Studios are responsible for producing Yellowstone. The launch of Season 5 of Yellowstone will be a two-hour event on November 13, and a complete series marathon will take place during the Labor Day weekend, September 2-September 5.
