There are only a few days left until the premiere of the original series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+, and Marvel Studios is making the most of the opportunity. She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) has recently surprised fans with a billboard advertising her number for the superhero branch of her legal company GLK&H at San Diego Comic-Con, and now a new short showcases She-Hulk in a “sponsored commercial” for the business. Using footage from the show, Walters urges viewers to “not get furious” but to “get a lawyer” in the fictitious advertisement for the made-up legal company.
Walters closes the humorous and pun-filled commercial by telling his audience, “I go green, so you can get green,” and then explains, “that… that means money!” Even though we know from the trailers that Walters favours her lawyer side more than her heroic side, the clip does a great job of depicting her nervousness and coming to grips with having changed into a huge green Hulk. The show has been termed the first courtroom drama in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it will follow Jennifer Walters as she attempts to juggle her dual identities as the head of GLK&H’s Superhuman Law Division and a superhero.
Since Emil Blonsky, nicknamed Abomination (Tim Roth), nearly killed her cousin, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), the original Hulk, it is safe to assume that she has a conflict of interest with him, as he is one of her customers, based on the trailers. She-Hulk will face the Abomination, but we believe that the introduction of Sorcerer Supreme Wong (Benedict Wong) will help her feel more integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole.
Joining Josh Segarra and Jon Bass as regular cast members are Ginger Gonzaga as Walters’ closest friend Nikki, Renee Elise Goldsberry as Amelia, and Jameela Jamil as the antagonist Tatiana. Jessica Gao, formerly of Rick and Morty, is She-head Hulk’s writer and showrunner. Kat Coiro will direct six episodes, while Anu Valia will helm the remaining three episodes.
On August 18th, Disney+ will release She-Hulk.
