‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Stars Join ‘Ironheart’s’ Cast Coulée stars in a mystery role

Shea Coulée, the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, has joined the cast of Ironheart. According to Deadline, her character’s identity is still a mystery. Riri Williams/Ironheart, played by Dominique Thorne (Judas and the Black Messiah) in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will make her debut in Marvel’s Disney+ series as Riri Williams/Ironheart. Additionally, Coulée was a finalist in two previous seasons of the competition series, winning All Stars 5. There are many additional options open to her because of her success in podcasting and fashion, as well as acting. Shea Coul-Ale, her beer, and The $100,000 Bar, her handcrafted soap are both trademarks of hers.

Rihanna’s fashion extra Savage X Fenty Show had Coulée in a cameo as herself. The series also features Anthony Ramos (In the Heights), Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Manny Montana (Good Girls), and Harper Anthony in addition to Coulée and Thorne. There are four performers that play mysterious characters in the film, just like Coulée. Lyric Ross (This Is Us), who will play Williams’ best buddy, is the only other actor who has been cast so far outside Thorne. Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been revealed, and the showrunner is none other than Chinaka Hodge (Snowpiercer).

Disney+ is expected to release Ironheart in late 2023. Prior to making her complete Marvel Comics debut in July 2016, Williams appeared in a cameo in a May 2016 issue of Invincible Iron Man. An MIT scholarship has been awarded to a 15-year-old prodigy. In the end, she constructs her own Iron Man suit, which gains Tony Stark’s admiration and support. The character was developed by Michael Brian Bendis and Mike Deodato.

Her MCU roots are likely to be identical to those of Black Panther’s Shuri (Letitia Wright), who was shown beside Williams in the Wakanda Forever teaser. At Marvel’s Hall H presentation at Comic-Con two weeks ago, Ironheart was one of several concepts highlighted further. As of December 2020, the series is scheduled to premiere with other Marvel projects, such as Armor Wars and Secret Invasion. As Marvel’s equivalent to DC’s Suicide Squad, Marvel’s Phase 5 will start with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and conclude with Thunderbolts.

Other series in Phase 5 include Echo (featuring Hawkeye’s Alaqua Cox), as well as Agatha: Coven of Chaos, which will see WandaVision’s Kathryn Hahn return as Agatha Harkness. In late 2023, Ironheart will be available on Disney+. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which premieres on November 11, is where she will make her film debut.
