At this year’s D23, Disney has scheduled a date and time for the Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm panel, where new MCU and Star Wars films and shows are likely to be unveiled. There was a buzz surrounding the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con when we learnt about the studio’s long-term aspirations. Phase 5 of the MCU was unveiled at Comic-Con in 2022, which included various theatrical movies and programming on Disney+. It was revealed that a Thunderbolts film, a new Daredevil series, and an Avengers narrative consisting of two parts will wrap up the newly titled “Multiverse Saga,” all of which were announced at the event.
In addition, we learned that Don Cheadle will reprise his role as War Machine in Secret Invasion and that Charlie Cox would reprise his role as Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. A lot might be announced during D23 next month, even though Marvel Studios’ SDCC panel was mind-blowing for fans. Beginning with the debut of trailers for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and Secret Invasion at SDCC. Although these trailers were available to Comic-Con attendees, they were not released to the general public.
In other words, D23 would be the ideal time to get the word out about these new initiatives and get everyone excited about them. In addition, following Ms Marvel’s emotional post-credits scene, fans are eager to hear some news regarding The Marvels, planned for release in July 2023. There are still several unfilled spots in Phase 6 of the MCU that Marvel Studios might fill during D23 when we learn about unannounced films and television projects. The first footage of Indiana Jones 5 has yet to be released by Lucasfilm, especially since we only received a banner during the Star Wars Celebration.
New footage for the upcoming seasons of Ahsoka and The Mandalorian will also be shown during the event. We may even hear anything about Jon Watt’s Star Wars series Skeleton Crew, starring Jude Law if we’re lucky. On Saturday, September 10, at 10 a.m. PT in Hall D23, Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm will collaborate on a panel.
