Two new snippets have been released to coincide with the debut of My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission in North American theatres! Aspects of the franchise that were particularly thrilling this year were the return of the anime for a fifth season and the release of a third feature film in the series’ history, which was among the most anticipated events of the year.
In the third instalment of the Endeavor franchise, which had a successful premiere in Japan earlier this summer, the characters Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki returned as they teamed up with Endeavor on a new mission that took them around the world with other countries’ professional heroes to take down a mysterious group that was planting bombs in various locations.
Several new clips have been released to coincide with the theatrical release of My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission. These include not only a fierce battle between Shoto and a powerful villain, but also a much less intense interaction between Izuku Midoriya and Rody Soul, who is a new character introduced in the film. You can see the following two videos, which were both made available by Funimation:
In accordance with Variety, once the film has concluded its limited worldwide theatrical run, it is a matter of time until it is released on home video and possibly on streaming services later on in the calendar year. These short video, when it comes to teasers, are a fantastic way to offer fans an idea of the kind of tones and battles they can expect to see in the forthcoming film, while also giving them an idea of what to expect if they haven’t seen it yet.
In light of the positive response the film has received from both fans and critics thus far, it appears to have been a huge success at the box office. My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission is a 104-minute feature that has not yet been given a rating by the studio despite its length. The following is the official description of the film provided by Funimation.
“In My Hero Academia: Planet Heroes’ Mission, U.A. High School students Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, and Katsuki Bakugo are faced with the greatest tragedy in the franchise’s history, and they have only two hours to save the world. In spite of the fact that Deku and his new friend Rody are interning with the top-rated Pro Hero Endeavor Agency, they quickly realise that they are wanted by police all throughout America in connection with an incident in which neither of them was involved.
How long will Deku and his allies be able to keep Humarise from putting his global plan to exterminate all Quirks into action?” Please share your thoughts on the latest segments from My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission in the comments section below.
