Recently, the video game Death’s Door was published with good reviews and widespread praise. A little crow working for the Reaping Commission Headquarters collects souls that won’t go peacefully to the afterlife in Death’s Door, an action-adventure game.
Devolver Digital-first presented death’s Door at the Xbox Indie Showcase in March of this year, and players could view some playable footage from that event.
Acid Nerve, a small indie studio, created Death’s Door, then distributed by Devolver Digital. Many gamers and critics have drawn comparisons between this game and others like The Legend of Zelda and Dark Souls.
The game was first launched in July on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and it will be available on additional platforms shortly.
Death’s Door release dates have been revealed thanks to a tweet from Devolver Digital’s official account. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
The upgraded versions of the game will be available on November 23rd, and a new Death’s Door gameplay clip will accompany the tweet.
The gaming community well received the announcement of Death’s Door’s release date. The majority of people who have commented on the post have expressed their delight at the news, with much-expressing gratitude that the game is now available on other platforms as well. That, however, is not the end of the Death’s Door pronouncements.
According to a second tweet from Devolver Digital, those who pre-order Death’s Door for the PS4 or PS5 will receive a free video game as a thank you.
Titan Souls is the name of the bonus game, which was also created by Acid Nerve and published by Devolver Digital earlier. However, it’s unclear from the tweet if Death’s Door for the Nintendo Switch will also include Titan Souls as a pre-order bonus.
The gameplay in Titan Souls takes place in a 2D top-down perspective, with the player controlling an archer who wields only one weapon: an unbreakable single-use arrow.
There are nineteen titans that the archer must defeat to win the game. The game was first launched on PC, PS4, PS Vita, and Android smartphones in 2015.
Titan Souls was Acid Nerve’s first game, and it will now be included as a free pre-order bonus. Death’s Door may be pre-ordered through the PlayStation Store via a link in the second tweet from developer Devolver Digital.
