After a little-known indie game called Five Nights at Freddy’s went viral in 2014, it catapulted the series and its creator into sudden fame.
Even though the first FNAF game just celebrated its seventh anniversary, the animatronic horror fuel for the next FNAF game appears to be heating up at a breakneck pace.
As a result, a gameplay trailer was released lately, featuring clips from the game and the day of its formal release.
Five Nights at Freddy’s:
Security Breach, the newest entry in the series, is set in an 80s-style glam rock version of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Restaurant and will be released on December 16, 2021, for PS4 and PS4.
This information comes from the game’s trailer. A few brief yet unsettling moments from the game and the characters are also seen in the video.
Some of the animatronic enemies in Security Breach will include Glamrock Chica, Montgomery Gator and Roxanne Wolf. There will also be an all-glam version of Freddy Fazbear.
Steel Wool Games, who previously worked with Cawthon on the FNAF game Help Wanted, which was released last December, is producing the new project now that the franchise’s original developer Scott Cawthon has retired due to political controversy.
As a virtual reality instalment in the creepy horror franchise with updated versions of the first four games and the spin-off, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location was included in the original release of Help Wanted: The Game.
Several later games do away with the immobile gameplay principles of the originals, allowing players to move around and monitor security cameras for incoming animatronics.
As players strive to keep an eye on the demonic puppets to make it through each night, the community is shaken to its core by the initial Five Nights at Freddy’s game.
According to the Security Breach teaser, the new game would need players to move around the restaurant, diverting the animatronics and remaining hidden from their view.
FNAF:
Security Breach’s release date was previously postponed, but gamers will be happy to hear it has finally been set. Although the series’ popularity has waned in recent years, it is still a young franchise that has not yet reached double sales.
With newer games and spin-offs changing the original gameplay pattern, it will be fascinating to see if this current instalment brings it back into fashion. The actual gameplay model may have started to get stale to some.
