The efforts of Takemichi and Chifuyu to prevent Hakkai from killing Taiju and thereby altering the future appeared to be in vain. New hope, however, came in the form of Kisaki, who stood forward to aid the lads in their effort to destroy Black Dragon. Since the 25th of December has been announced as the date of the impending fight, viewers are curious as to what kind of preparations Takemichi and the others will make in order to face Taiju.
Previous Events on Tokyo Revengers Episode 4
Hakkai thought it was a terrible idea for Mitsuya to talk to Taiju since it may cause difficulty for Mitsuya and the others. Mitsuya travelled to Taiju’s residence with Hakkai, Chifuyu, and Takemichi to finally meet him. He unexpectedly freed Hakkai from Toman, but in exchange he requested Taiju to free his sister Yuzuha, knowing that Hakkai had been guarding her the whole time. Taiju punched back at Mitsuya in response, and Mitsuya warned him of grave repercussions if he refused his offer. After much convincing, Taiju decided to release Yuzuha and vowed never to touch her again. At a later time, Takemichi explained to Chifuyu how the future may have changed now that Hakkai has no incentive to kill Taiju.
However, Chifuyu dashed Takemichi’s expectations by pointing out evidence suggesting the future could not have changed and warned him that going back could be dangerous. Hakkai went over to Takemichi and Chifuyu and told them that Taiju didn’t give a hoot about his arrangement with Mitsuya and that he intended to kill his older brother. Hakkai also said that, after promising not to touch his sister as a youngster, Taiju eventually began physically abusing her. Afterwards, Takemichi and Chifuyu went to Draken and other high-ranking Toman members to enlist their aid in taking out Black Dragon, but no one consented to do so. Chifuyu and Takemichi were taken aback by Kisaki’s offer of assistance after everyone else had departed. Koko, a member of the Black Dragon gang, caught his informant red-handed, but to everyone’s amazement, Koko volunteered to sell information on Taiju for 100,000 yen. According to what Koko shared, Christmas Eve is the one time of year that Taiju spends by himself. As a result, it was widely expected that Hakkai would try to murder his sibling on Christmas Day.
