On Sunday, February 5, 2023, at 12 am JST, the publication of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 212 is scheduled. The chapter is available for free on the Shonen Jump app, as well as on the Shonen Jump website and the Viz and Manga Plus websites for the series. In Chapter 211, we see Maki catching up with Yuji and Megumi, where he breaks the news of Kenjaku’s triumph over Yuki and Yuki’s capture by Tengen. Assuming that Tengen’s merging had already commenced beyond the colonies, the Angel was surprised to learn from Maki’s report that the body-hopping sorcerer had not yet begun the procedure. Though Megumi and Yuji were eager to save Tsumiki from the game, they might have underestimated the danger that her entrance could represent.

Chapter 212 of Jujutsu Kaisen: What to Expect?
The next episode of Jujutsu Kaisen will probably start up where the last one left off, exposing Tsumiki’s true identity. Megumi began to suspect an impostor was acting as his sister when the older Fushiguro sibling decided to introduce a new rule to the Culling Game rather than use the points to stop her involvement. Tsumiki’s selection by Kenjaku as the reincarnation vehicle for a long-dead sorcerer was a popular fan hypothesis, and Chapter 211 lent credence to that theory. Insight into Hajime Kashimo’s history showed that he did not always look as he does now, which is consistent with the idea that the sorcerers kept the physical appearance of their vessels.
No one at Jujutsu High, where Megumi goes to school, seems to have considered the idea that her sister may have been possessed by a sorcerer from the past, which is why they all seem to have placed so much faith in her. Since the Kogane was shown in the previous chapter to have noticed that the barrier itself was preventing players from travelling in and out of the colonies, it is possible that chapter 212 of Jujutsu Kaisen will also disclose if Tsumiki’s rule is given by the Kogane. Megumi will have to confront Tsumiki, and potentially kill him, if chapter 212 of Jujutsu Kaisen proves that Tsumiki was a sorcerer in the past. Also, the show has already established that when a sorcerer from the past takes physical form in a vessel, the vessel’s original identity is erased.
Review of Chapter 211 in Brief
At the beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 211, pillars of light appeared to rise from each of the colonies, attracting the attention of the general populace. Many of them recognised the light as a portent of impending danger. By meeting up with Yuji and Megumi, Maki delivered the news of Yuki’s defeat and the fact that Choso had protected the Prison Realm’s back gate on behalf of their comrades. According to the Angel, the beginning of the merging between Tengen must have occurred away from the colonies. After Maki established that the country was still operating smoothly and that not many individuals had been impacted, Yuji and Megumi shifted their focus to saving Tsumiki.
The Ten Shadows sorcerer had previously sought to establish a new rule to the Culling Game that would allow participants to quit, and Yuta had earlier transferred all the accrued points to him. The Kogane ultimately consented to sanction the rule change, but only if the player spent 100 points inviting a replacement from outside the colonies. In chapter 211 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Maki accompanied Tsumiki to the Tokyo No. 1 colony, standing in for the oldest Fushiguro brother, Ijichi. Megumi gave Tsumiki 100 points and advised her to quit the game once they were all back together. His half-sister, however, took the points and used them to implement a new rule that made it possible for players to freely traverse colony lines, shocking everyone. We leave Tsumiki grinning menacingly as Megumi, terrified, demands to know who she truly is at the chapter’s end.
