Spoilers for the next chapter 211 of Jujutsu Kaisen have been made available online, and readers are beyond thrilled at the prospect of finally seeing Megumi’s sibling. Fans have been waiting for Tsumiki to show up since the manga revealed early on that the older Fushiguro had been cursed and had fallen into a coma. The spoilers for Chapter 211, however, imply that the happy reunion of the two siblings may not happen after all. This article explores the possibility that Jujutsu Kaisen portrays Tsumiki as a villain who Megumi must beat and kill in order to thwart Kenjaku’s intentions. In chapter 211 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Tsumiki has a potentially fatal encounter with Megumi.
Everything already covered by the series
It was in the Death Painting arc of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga that it was first revealed that the Ten Shadows sorcerer has an elder half-sister named Tsumiki Fushiguro. The sorcerers, looking into a string of disappearances from Megumi’s school, learned that the oldest Fushiguro brother was cursed when he and two other students crossed the Yasohachi Bridge. Despite the fact that Megumi learned in Shibuya that Kenjaku had been after Tsumiki since long before Yuji ate Sukuna’s first finger, the curse was activated by Yuji’s actions. The body-hopping sorcerer utilised Idle Transformation to initiate the Culling Game after he was sealed by Satoru Gojo and revealed his true identity.
Those who have been cursed by Kenjaku have either been selected to act as conduits for powerful sorcerers of the past, or they have awoken their own unique cursed abilities. After the Itadori Extermination arc of Jujutsu Kaisen, Megumi sought Yuji’s assistance in saving Tsumiki from the Culling Game. Together with Yuta, Maki, Panda, Hakari, and Kirara, the two young sorcerers gained enough points, located “the Angel,” and instituted four new laws to safely transfer Megumi’s sister across the barrier.
In Chapter 211, the Fushiguro Siblings Get Together
Chapter 211 spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen reveal Yuji, Megumi, and Maki enforcing the fourth rule, which permits the movement of players across colonies. Since Tsumiki is allowed to freely travel between colonies thanks to her absence of cursed energy, the latter accompanies her to Tokyo’s No. 1 colony. Megumi was frightened when she realised who “Tsumiki” actually was, but when the 100 points were transferred to her, the older Fushiguro sister asked kogane to enable her unfettered passage through the barrier.
The impact of Tsumiki on Megumi
Tsumiki is revealed to have a soothing influence on her half-brother throughout the series because of the strong relationship they share after their parent’s departure. Megumi insisted on being choosy about whom he wished to save, believing that only decent, unselfish individuals like Yuji and his sister were worthy of his help. In the Kyoto Goodwill Event arc, when Todo inquired as to Megumi’s choice of girls, Megumi recalled his sister’s selflessness and told him he didn’t care as long as they were nice people. In a later episode of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, it was revealed that while Megumi was in middle school, Tsumiki reprimanded him for picking fights and resorting to physical force when dealing with local delinquents. Tsumiki’s words reverberating in Megumi’s mind at the climax of the Tokyo No. 1 Colony storyline finally convinced the sorceress to give up her pursuit of Remi.
Can we expect to see Tsumiki become evil in Jujutsu Kaisen?
The reaction Megumi had to Tsumiki in chapter 211 of Jujutsu Kaisen hints that the oldest Fushiguro brother may have been transformed into a vessel by Kenjaku and is now only a shell holding a reborn sorcerer. Tsumiki is more likely to be working with the body-hopping villain and Uraume if she succeeds in gaining unlimited access beyond the boundaries. By doing so, Megumi would be forced to take on his own sister in a battle between the two half-siblings.
The younger Fushiguro, the current leader of the Zenin clan, would be obliged to murder the sorcerer who now bears the look of his elder sister if the manga portrays Tsumiki as a villain. A fight like that might be the last straw that sends Megumi on a relentless search to bring down Kenjaku. When the younger Fushiguro begins to waver, it may be because his respect and concern for Tsumiki have grown weak. This is the moment when his foes must either eliminate him or hand him over to Sukuna.
