Screambox to Stream “Terrifier 2” for Halloween

Art the Clown is ecstatic to share the news that Terrifier 2 will be available on SCREAMBOX in time for the spooky holiday. The surprising horror smash has been released on streaming services and is now opening in theatres on more than a thousand screens throughout the country. After its 2016 release, the original Terrifier rapidly became a cult classic because of the successful combination of an iconic villain and a bloody, gory, throwback slasher formula. Although it took director Damien Leone some time, the sequel Terrifier 2 was released to theatres without any financial backing from major companies.

As a result, the movie is one of the most savages of the decade, clocking in at an unedited 138 minutes. Considering that Terrifier 2 apparently lacked funds for promotion, its ongoing popularity in cinemas led to a far wider theatrical distribution than anybody had anticipated. Art the Clown’s success has been greatly aided by word of mouth, and with the streaming release of Terrifier 2, those who were unable to see it in cinemas will be able to do so without leaving the comfort of their own homes.

In spite of this, there is still time to catch Terrifier 2 on one of the over a thousand screens showing it around the country. While Art the Clown goes on a murdering spree in the first Terrifier. The film concludes with the killer being challenged by the authorities and opting to take his own life rather than be apprehended. Following Art’s mysterious disappearance from the morgue after being revived by an evil entity, the events of Terrifier 2 begin. Art chooses a new victim to torture and destroys the world with every Halloween after that.
The sequel Terrifier 2 stars David Howard Thornton as Art and Samantha Scaffidi as Victoria Heyes, the main character’s only surviving companion from the previous film.

Catherine Corcoran (Long Lost) and Jenna Kanell (The Front Runner) reprise their roles as Tara Heyes and Dawn, respectively. Cast members Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Chris Jericho (MacGruber), Sarah Voigt (We Have a Ghost), Kailey Hyman (A Man Called Otto), Casey Hartnett (What We Found), and Griffin Santopietro (The Other Two) are Art’s newest targets (Cobra Kai). The sequel to the terrifying “Terrorizer” is now playing in cinemas. By visiting the movie’s official website, you may find out if there will be a local showing. In addition to being streamed on Netflix and Hulu, the sequel will be accessible on SCREAMBOX beginning Monday, October 31.
