Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors’ Pasts Follow Them Even On The ‘Creed III’ Posters

Creed III’s first look at Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors has been published, and they look chiselled and threatening. The first poster has Jordan sitting in the ring while staring squarely at the viewer with the phrase “You can’t run…” The second poster features Majors as Anderson Dame doing the same thing while the tagline reads “…from your past.” A lot of the story and character information is being kept under wraps for the time being, but we can say that Dame appears to be a formidable adversary for Creed. With Creed III, the Rocky series finally has a film without Sylvester Stallone in the title role. Jordan not only reprises his starring role but also directs for the first time.

The movie is building up to be a great conclusion to the trilogy, especially because Ryan Coogler, who helmed the first Creed picture, is still onboard as executive producer. The screenplay and plot were written by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin, with whom Coogler shares credit. Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu), son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), who had a terrible past with Rocky and was responsible for the death of Donnie’s father, Apollo Creed, was Adonis’ opponent when we last saw him. To defeat Viktor, Adonis had to step outside his comfort zone and test his limits, as depicted in the film.

Now we must wait to find out what new trials await the boxing champion in the third instalment, albeit only Anderson Dame’s ominous appearance represents a formidable foe and guarantees a thrilling showdown for the genre’s devoted audience. Adonis’s efforts to reconnect with his daughter and reverse the trend of absentee fathers in the Creed trilogy are a promising plot point for Creed III. The film also features Tessa Thompson as Bianca Taylor, Phylicia Rashad as Mary Anne Creed, Wood Harris as Tony “Little Duke” Evers, and the return of Florian Munteanu as Viktor Drago, in addition to Jordan in the title role and Majors as Anderson Dame. And in addition to Canelo lvarez and Mila Davis-Kent, Selenis Leyva, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Spence Moore II, and Canelo have all been cast in mysterious roles.
Filmgoers may expect to see Creed III on March 3, 2023.
