With an Escape Room Game, a Peacock Marks the Occasion of Halloween

Now is the time to watch all your favourite slasher flicks online in honour of Halloween. Peacock is one of the best islands to accomplish your goal. The streaming service offers many excellent examples of classic monster and slasher films, but for this year’s Halloween season, Peacock has included a fresh twist on the spooky fun theme. Try your luck in their latest online escape room, Peacock Halloween Nightmare Game. The escape room is set up like a classic point-and-click adventure game, or in this instance a survival horror game, in the style of Monkey Island or a Nancy Drew PC mystery. The game begins with you and your friends settling down to watch a scary movie on television, but the atmosphere rapidly shifts as the news breaks the news that a serial murderer has gotten away.

The lights will go out and the murderer will take you from there. The family invites you to stay with them. Playing their crazy game and navigating from room to room to complete the numerous riddles is the only way out. The greatest thing about this game is that each room is decorated in the style of a different horror movie that can be seen on Peacock. Even more subtly, several of the topics revolve around well-known performers who frequently feature in Universal’s horror films.

To give you an idea, the first room’s kidnapper is a star from a blockbuster horror film of 2022, and the riddles reference movies like The Black Phone and They/Them. In the Peacock Halloween Nightmare Game, you may put your knowledge of scary movies to the test, but staying alive isn’t the only challenge. On the 10th and 20th of this month, the streamer will reveal two more terrifying escape rooms. Fans of the horror genre are in for a treat if the subsequent rooms are anything like the first. This initial escape room plays on people’s natural apprehension of being alone at night.

This survival horror game effectively puts your warped mind to the test, whether through the eerie soundtrack or the traditional point-and-click interface. A major debut this month, Halloween Ends, is just one way that Peacock is getting into the spirit of the season. On October 14, Peacock and theatres will show the conclusion to the Michael Myers and Laurie Strode tale. This slasher epic has generated unfathomable amounts of buzz and expectation. Recently, NBC aired a Halloween in Hollywood programme to promote the picture.

The show, which is currently available to watch on Peacock, paid tribute to the Halloween franchise’s history while also providing viewers with a sneak peek at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. If horror movies are more your thing than spooky holiday celebrations, Peacock has an incredible back catalogue of some of the best. Famous horror movies including Psycho, Friday the 13th, Saw, Gremlins, Sleepaway Camp, Predator, Phantasma, and A Nightmare on Elm Street are all available to watch online. You Should Have Left and Separation are two recent horror movies. Chucky, the infamous killer doll, was created and now resides on the internet.

Peacock currently hosts Season 1 of Chucky, as well as Child’s Play 2 and 3, Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky, and Cult of Chucky. Syfy airs new episodes of “Chucky,” season 2, every Wednesday at 9 p.m. The Universal Monster series, which includes such classics as Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Bride of Frankenstein as well as more recent entries like The Invisible Man and The Wolf Man, is also available on the service. Peacock is the place to go if you want to watch scary movies or Halloween-themed episodes of popular TV programmes like Brooklyn Nine-Nine. You may also test your mettle against the first of three terrifying escape rooms at Peacock right now on their website; it’s called the Peacock Halloween Horror Game.
