Trailer for ‘The System,’ Starring Tyrese Gibson, Synopsis, Release Date & Cast Details

New promotional material for The System features the combined talents of actors Tyrese Gibson and Terrence Howard. There’s a tonne of exciting action in this forthcoming thriller, and the actors are all top-notch as well. On October 28th, the film will debut in theatres, and on November 4th, it will be made available online. The trailer for The Avenue, which can be viewed on the film’s official YouTube website, stars Mel Gibson as an ex-soldier who gets caught stealing drug houses to pay for his daughter’s treatment. But then, things take a turn for the unexpected, and he’s recruited to infiltrate a jail and look into rumours of an underground combat ring headed by the warden.

From what we can gather from the teaser, Gibson ends up befriending Howard’s character, another inmate who acts as a role model and teacher to Gibson as he develops his fighting skills behind bars. He has to battle to stay alive as he plots to bring down the warden and the prison system. The trailer does a good job of teasing the thrilling idea of the film and showing some of the action from the battle scenes. In addition to Gibson and Howard, the film also features rapper Lil Yachty and Jeremy Piven (well known for his role in Entourage). The film was written and directed by Dallas Jackson and has an R rating due to its strong language and drug content.

The System, due out later this autumn, features an impressive cast and an intriguing premise, making it a potential must-see for genre lovers. Gibson is most known for his portrayal of Roman Pearce in the Fast and Furious film series, and he will reprise that character in both Fast X (the tenth film in the series) and Fast & Furious 11 (the eleventh film in the series).

The actor appeared in Morbius starring Jared Leto and Matt Smith earlier this year. Gibson will also be seen in Hard Matter, an upcoming action thriller film directed by Justin Price, with Harvey Keitel, Peter Stormare, and Frank Grillo, outside of the Fast and Furious franchise. Howard, who appeared in the highly acclaimed series Empire, will soon be seen in the film Afterward, with Aaron Eckhart and George Lopez, directed by Dito Montiel. Along with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Clifton Powell, he will also feature in the upcoming horror flick Skeletons in the Closet. On October 28, The System will open in theatres, and on November 4, it will be available on streaming services.
