Deadline reports that Ebon Moss-Bachrach has joined the cast of No Hard Feelings, the forthcoming R-rated comedy starring Jennifer Lawrence, in an unnamed role. The film from Sony Pictures will premiere on June 16, 2023, and only in cinemas. Lawrence, well known for her portrayal of Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games films, will feature in No Hard Feelings, however specifics on Moss-character Bachrach remain sketchy. The plot of the film revolves around Lawrence’s character, who is recruited to help the reclusive son of a wealthy couple (played by Andrew Barth Feldman) (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series). In addition to Lawrence and Feldman, Moss-Bachrach is in good company with the likes of Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) and Laura Benanti (The Hunger Games) (Gossip Girl).
They will play Feldman’s character’s parents in the movie. No Hard Feelings, a new comedy from a director with a track record in the genre, promises to be entertaining if its cast is any indication. Gene Stupnitsky, who directed the 2019 blockbuster comedy Good Boys (which has an 80% critical score on Rotten Tomatoes and an 86% audience score), will oversee No Hard Feelings. Stupnitsky not only directs but also creates the script alongside John Phillips, who also serves as the film’s executive producer. Lawrence co-produced No Hard Feelings alongside Alex Saks, Marc Provissiero, Naomi Odenkirk, and Justine Ciarrochi, in addition to appearing in the film.
As the film’s release date draws near, more details will most certainly be unveiled. In addition to the R-rated comedy, Moss-Bachrach will co-star with Andrea Riseborough in the forthcoming spooky thriller Geechee (Birdman). In Andor, the newest Star Wars series on Disney+, he plays the role of Rebel Arvel Skeen. In addition, he is a regular cast member in the comedy-drama series The Bear, in which he plays the role of Richie Jerimovich. In the past, Moss-Bachrach has starred in popular programmes including Girls on HBO, The Punisher on Netflix, and John Adams on HBO, where he portrayed historical figure, John Quincy Adams.
While specific details regarding Moss-involvement Bachrach’s in No Hard Feelings have yet to be disclosed, the actor’s extensive acting resume suggests he is a strong candidate for many roles in the film. The official release date for No Hard Feelings is June 16, 2023.
