Spoilers claim that the Second User of One of All’s special ability is revealed in My Hero Academia chapter 368. Izuku Midoriya demonstrates his command of OFA in the same chapter that he acquires all seven of his quirks. The identity of the mysterious Second User remains unknown. Spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 368 include AFO saying that Shigaraki is gone because he triumphed during their fusion and is now the stronger hero. But Mirio remarks that Tomura responded passionately to his statements, hence he can’t be gone since it is not a complete synthesis. When Nana Shimura sees her son’s resemblance to Shigaraki/arms, AFO assures Izuku that Tomura hasn’t left. When Shigaraki/AFO leaps, the whole platform shakes, but Deku is unfazed.
The bad guy smashes the kid and the ground beneath him, but it has little effect on Deku, who uses Black Chain, a mix of Fa-Jin and Blackwhip, to bind one of Shigaraki/arms. AFO He tries to use the chain to drag the villain, but Shigaraki/AFO escapes immediately. The Second User suddenly materialises behind Deku, pleading with him to utilise Second’s peculiarity to put an end to the fight against Shigaraki as soon as possible. Transmission, the unique ability of the Second User, slows down the target and makes the user seem quicker. When Deku finally lets go of all that pent-up energy, he suddenly moves at a rate that exceeds even the speed of the attack’s sound.
The five levels are referred to as Second, Third, Top, and Overdrive, respectively. Even though Shigaraki/AFO has a forcefield up, the assault still manages to go through. In rapid succession, Deku lands the second, third, and final strikes of his flurry. The Second User observes that the quirk’s power has increased since he last used it. Deku suddenly materialises behind AFO, poised to deliver an Overdrive blow. Yoichi comes with the remnants, and the Second User verifies that Midoriya may now utilise OFA at 120%. Just before Deku delivers a Detroit Smash on the bad guy, he informs AFO it’s time to call it a day.
Consensus and Remarks
Spoilers for My Hero Academia: Chapter 368 state that the world will end in five minutes if Deku doesn’t beat Shigaraki/AFO. This isn’t made clear, but it seems to be related to how long Deku can maintain full OFA power. It’s also possible that Monoma’s ability to mimic Erasure, which he’s been doing since the beginning of the fight, has reached its limit.
Deku, it appears, has blocked out the horror going on all around him in order to zero in on his intended victim and finish his mission. He hasn’t only learned all the oddities; he’s moved on to blending them into his own style.
