It’s time for your sins to be forgiven, and SYFY and USA Network’s Chucky is here to help. The second season’s primary cast is depicted in four brightly coloured advertising photographs, all of them seated behind the doors of a confessional box. The killer doll stands on the opposite side of the booth with murder in his eyes and a knife in his hand, while purple, blue, orange, and red lights shine behind Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), Devon Evans (Björgvin Arnarson), Lexy Cross (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and Father Bryce (Devon Sawa). In case you’ve been hiding out under a rock, the forthcoming second season of the drama will be set in a Catholic reformatory school. Season one sets the stage for the audience to experience the new location alongside the three friends.
In the meanwhile, a number of subplots will unfold. In the last episodes of the previous season, Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly) stooped to a new, terrible low by amputating Nica Pierce’s (Fiona Dourif) limbs to make sure that Chucky can’t hurt her if he ever possesses her again. Andy (Alex Vincent), a mainstay of the Child’s Play series, was killed when Chucky (Brad Dourif) sent a truckload of possessed Good Guy dolls out to conquer the world. 2nd Season is shaping up to be a year full of first appearances and returns, with Lachlan Watson making his debut as Chucky and Tiffany’s child, Glen/Glenda, and the twice-killed-off Sawa making his comeback as a brand-new character, Father Bryce.
Also, viewers will find out who all the fuss is about when Tilly’s friends and former co-stars pop up in promotional materials. Liar actor Meg Tilly’s sister Gina Gershon and Academy Award contender Joe Pantoliano will also make appearances in the forthcoming season. The guest list also includes Sutton Stracke, a star and entrepreneur from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and the second queen from the current cast of the Bravo series to participate in a horror film in time for Halloween.
Kyle Richards, a fellow stay-at-home mom, will reprise her role as Lindsey Wallace in Halloween Ends, the third and final instalment in director David Gordon Green’s Halloween trilogy. Recent trailers, teasers, and photographs reveal that the series intends to stay up with the narrative built over the years through Don Mancini’s Child’s Play universe, despite the fact that changes and new plotlines are always around the corner. On October 5, you can watch the launch of Season 2 of Chucky.
