Just one month before its Season 3 launch on Thursday, October 6 and weekly episode releases through Thursday, November 24, HBO Max has unveiled a fresh new trailer for the iconic DC series Pennyworth: The Origins of Batman’s Butler. After 5 years have passed since the conclusion of Season 5, Patrick Wayne (Jack Bannon’s father and a series regular in his own right) approaches Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon) in the brand new 2-minute and 16-second trailer (Ben Aldridge). He seeks the future butler of the Wayne mansion’s assistance in eliminating a Lullaby State cult that is using the drug’s psychokinetic properties. With this new psychoactive, individuals are being manipulated into acting in ways they normally wouldn’t.
The teaser showcases the worldwide squad that Alfred will need to assemble to defeat this new menace, as well as a few other adversaries that tend toward the villainous sort. However, when asked if they should “trust me” or “Alfred” because of the trailer’s ending, Pennyworth’s confident response is, “Alfred, trust me.” As of 2019, Pennyworth has aired its first two seasons on Epix. After the second season concluded in April 2021, rumours began to spread that the show’s creators were in talks with Epix about moving the show to HBO Max; by October 2021, HBO Max had renewed the show for a third season.
When it finally arrives at its new home on the streaming service, it will be joining a vast library of DC titles and material. The “Origins of Batman’s Butler” subtitle debuted in early August 2022, attached to the third season of the show. Pennyworth’s first two seasons may be viewed in their entirety on HBO Max. Paloma Faith, Ryan Fletcher, Dorothy Atkinson, Ramon Tikaram, Harriet Slater, and Simon Manyonda also star in the season alongside series regulars Kayla Bannon and Tom Sturridge as Bruce Wayne and Thomas Wayne, respectively. Ten instalments make up the forthcoming third season.

Bruno Heller, Matthew Patnick, Danny Cannon, and John Stephens serve as executive producers for the Pennyworth: The Origins of Batman’s Butler series on Warner Bros. Television. The show is made in Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the United Kingdom. As was previously reported, Pennyworth: The Origins of Batman’s Butler premieres on HBO Max on October 6 with three episodes, with subsequent episodes premiering weekly through November 24.
Synopsis
Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier, starts a security business in 1960s London and hires young millionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge) and his wife Martha (Emma Paetz) as clients. Thomas and Martha later have Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) as their son. After a five-year time leap, season three of the psychological thriller resumes, and the globe has undergone a cultural revolution, ushering in a new era of Super Heroes and Supervillains.
