Slowly but surely, September is coming to an end for movie buffs. Michael Myers will return to scare moviegoers in Halloween Ends as the days become longer and cooler. Next month, fans of the horror genre will be inundated with advertisements for what may be the last instalment of the Halloween film series. Jamie Lee Curtis, who plays Laurie Strode, just revealed the new Halloween Total Film cover, which depicts the last showdown between Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. Curtis posted a cover on his Instagram with Laurie and Michael facing each other. Constantly reminds us of the movie’s most current poster. Michael’s famous mask is starting to seem very revolting.
That’s the result of 40+ years of use. The image’s lighting does a fantastic job of highlighting the newly designed mask, which gives the impression of decay or mould. Michael’s broken hand is also in the spotlight. Fans of the Halloween films will recall how he tragically lost two fingers in his initial confrontation with Laurie (2018). On Laurie’s side, she’s wearing an attire reminiscent of the one she wore on the first Halloween and is wielding Michael’s characteristic kitchen knife. This legendary “final girl” appeared in the first teaser for Ends wearing the same attire, and she does not appear to be playing around. The cover features a lot of scary wording designed to raise your blood pressure.
According to Total Film, “Ends” is “the ultimate showdown as Laurie Strode gets her murderous finish,” and according to a comment from Curtis, “This last confrontation between Final Girl and Michael Myers has to happen, and there will be blood.” Curtis concludes his piece with a Total Film still of Michael brandishing a kitchen knife. Once again, the lighting does a fantastic job of bringing out the finer details of Michael’s ageing. The scarecrow in question has been shot several times and nearly burned to a crisp, yet he keeps on keeping on. This photo is eerily representative of Michael’s terrible, superhuman might. There’s still a lot of spooky mystery behind Halloween Ends, even though it’s set to be released in less than a month.
Despite this, we do know that the film takes place four years after the events of Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills, that a babysitter is being accused of murder, and that Laurie is attempting to move on from Michael. Even more courageously, she is attempting to pen a memoir about her harrowing upbringing. You can’t stay hidden from the monster forever, and whatever Michael has planned for Haddonfield, Ends seems like it will be a horrible carnage with a lot of casualties. On October 14, both cinemas and Peacock will show Halloween Is Over.
