One Piece Chapter 1059 received a second round of leaks including several major spoilers, clarifying the events of the following chapter. The fresh leaks feature images of the future chapter in addition to conversation, making #ONEPIECE1059 a trending topic on Twitter. While the prior disclosures did provide some intriguing insights, it now appears that part of the information was incorrect, notably that which concerned Marshall D. Teach, alias Blackbeard.
This article may contain spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1059
Early this week, it was reported that Blackbeard had absorbed Boa Hancock’s devil fruit talent. The panel up top, where Hancock appears to be at Blackbeard’s mercy, lends credence to this theory. However, recent revelations may have debunked this theory. The invasion of Amazon Lily by Blackbeard is thwarted as Dark King Rayleigh shows up just in the nick of time. Some viewers have made the connection to the Marineford storyline, where Shanks single-handedly prevented a battle between Whitebeard’s pirates and the Navy.
With the exception of this one point, all of the rumours and leaks that had been floating about turned out to be accurate. Blackbeard raided Amazon Lily for Hancock’s devil fruit ability, Mero Mero no Mi. This chapter also highlighted Hancock and Blackbeard’s respective strengths. The latest spoilers confirm that towards the conclusion of the book, Blackbeard’s pirates had actually taken Koby. Fans were intrigued by this development since it suggested Koby must be rather powerful to attract the attention of Blackbeard. Additionally, Shakky joins Rayleigh in Amazon Lily, which was not previously known.
In addition to meeting a new Pacifista model, as was previously revealed, Blackbeard will also encounter a new villain. An earlier version of Luffy and Yamato may be seen in a flashback that takes up a good chunk of the chapter. After that, Marco is shown leaving the Red Hair Pirates’ ship after expressing his gratitude to Captain Shanks and the rest of the crew. At last, the sources confirm that there will be no break next week, therefore the release of One Piece Chapter 1060 will occur as planned.
Naturally, it’s possible that the details in these leaks aren’t 100% true. You’ll have to wait for the official release to learn everything there is to know. The next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, which will include One Piece Chapter 1059, will be released on Sunday, March 18. The upcoming chapter will be made accessible for free on Manga Plus for readers outside of Japan.
