Those who caught the last episode of Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law know that the show went for broke with the comedy, bringing in some fan favourites and putting them in circumstances we would never expect. The episode’s high point came when Jen Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) pleaded with Sorcerer Supreme Wong (Benedict Wong) to testify on behalf of her client, Emil Blonsky/the Abomination (Tim Roth). This is why, after discovering his LinkedIn profile, Jen’s friend Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga) tried everything she could think of to grab the attention of the sorcerer.
She decided to trick Wong into drinking water, but not in the way you might expect. Nikki sent him a bookish selfie after learning he had worked as a librarian for 11 years at Nepal’s Kamar Taj. Since he is a librarian, of course, he will give in. Gonzaga decided to join the online conversation over the incident and reveal Nikki’s thirst trap by posting a picture of herself next to a stack of books. Gonzaga warned against “going deep into the books,” since they were all from her own collection and ranged in theme from self-help to dystopian fiction. The plot of She-Hulk revolves around Jennifer Walters, who becomes the Incredible Hulk after being accidentally exposed to her cousin Bruce Banner’s (Mark Ruffalo) blood.
Despite her newfound strength, Jen has no intention of joining the Avengers; instead, she plans to continue her career as a lawyer and advocate for other superheroes. After over 15 years in prison and meditation, her first client is the Abomination, who claims he now regrets murdering a whole city and that he can tame the beast within him. Phase 4 of the MCU, in which Jessica Gao’s (Rick and Morty) show is set, has been planned out in detail all the way to Phase 6. Kat Coiro (Marry Me) directs most episodes, and the cast includes Charlie Cox, Jameela Jamil, RenĂ©e Elise Goldberry, Josh Segarra, and Steve Coulter. The Series concludes Marvel Studios’ 2022 schedule of original Disney+ programming, which also included Moon Knight and Ms Marvel. New episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiere every Thursday on Disney+.
