Season one of What We Do in the Shadows is almost over. This season as a whole has been a wild trip, and the finale will most likely follow suit. FX has published the teaser for the Season 4 finale ahead of its showing, and it looks like Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) will have a significant role in the episode. In its slightly longer than 30-second running time, the teaser provides a glimpse into Colin Robinson’s child’s experience with his recent hormonal changes at the beginning of puberty.
From the looks of the teaser, he is struggling to cope. To this day, Colin displays the same childlike behaviour he exhibited for most of the season. But he has a hard time making sense of this change, and those beyond his inner circle have begun to notice that something is odd. The clip reveals that Sean (Anthony Atamanuik) has a grudge to bear as well. The season’s primary plotlines have centred on the show’s central characters and their separate development. In the course of nine episodes, we saw Colin develop from an infant to a young kid to a teenager.
Despite Laszlo’s (Matt Berry) initial pessimism that he could help his son avoid a life of tedium, he and Nadja’s (Natasia Demetriou) discovery that Colin was popular with the club’s clientele thanks to his adorable singing and dancing paid off. Recent episodes have shown Laszlo looking for ways to take Colin’s performance on the road. However, the night before a performance, Colin has a growth spurt, and things escalate from bad to worse. From the looks of the preview, things are not going to improve for Colin. Nandor (Kayvan Novak) and Guillermo’s (Harvey GuillĂ©n) last argument, which escalated after Nandor decided to make Marwa a carbon duplicate of Guillermo’s lover, is not shown in the teaser.
Despite Nandor’s best intentions, Guillermo was severely damaged by his attempt to inject excitement into his marriage. Maybe in the next episode, they’ll be able to settle this. No indications regarding what would happen to Nadja’s club in the future are included in the trailer. When she tried to replace Colin as the show’s headliner, everything went wrong except the cancellation. She seems to have completely abandoned any hope of ever becoming a successful business owner.
Because she hasn’t completely written off the nightclub just yet, we could witness one more attempt at saving it in the season finale. What We Do in the Shadows’ Season 4 finale will premiere on FX on Tuesday, September 6 & will be available on Hulu the following day.
