A few weeks have passed since the conclusion of the third season of the smash hit Apple TV+ show For All Mankind, but already production is underway on the show’s fourth season. The next season has begun filming after being renewed in July. With the start of production on Season 3, the show has added Daniel Stern to its regular cast. In For All Mankind, we see what could have occurred if the space race had gone in a different direction. The series takes place in an alternate history in which the USSR, not the United States, wins the race to the moon and NASA astronauts, engineers, and their families play important roles in the most extraordinary events.
Stern’s character, Eli Hobson, is a former CEO of the car business who is now the administrator of NASA, and he will play this role when the programme returns. Taking charge of NASA’s transition into the modern era, as Stern’s character has been tasked to do, proves to be more challenging than he had imagined. The third season of the show centred on a space race between the United States and the Soviet Union to determine which country could be the first to reach Mars. The astronauts’ strategies for dealing with the challenges of both landing on Earth and continuing their journey into deep space were on full display during this high-stakes competition.
When the 1990s rolled around, the series introduces us to a new era, complete with a race between the nations. Multiple plot twists and a thrilling finish capped up the third season.
To name only a few of Stern’s cinematic roles: Game Over, Man!, James vs. His Future Self, Diner, and The Milagro Beanfield War. His portrayal as Marv Murchins in the groundbreaking and critically acclaimed Home Alone is one of his most well-known performances. The actor has appeared on Getting On, Manhattan on WGN America, and House of Lies on Showtime. Shrill, an original series on Hulu, was his most recent project. Ronal D. Moore, Ben Nedivi, and Matt Wolpert are the brains behind For All Mankind.
Each member of the group serves in many capacities on the programme, with Nedivi and Wolpert also serving as showrunners and executive producers. Sony Pictures Television is responsible for creating this show. David Weddle, Bradley Thompson, Nicole Beattie, and Maril Davis are also executive producers for Tall Ship Productions. Due to the numerous on-screen fatalities at the end of season three, the upcoming season’s cast has not yet been released in full. For the time being, though, Krys Marshall, Joel Kinnaman, and Wrenn Schmidt will be joining Stern in the upcoming season. The whole three seasons of For All Mankind are available to view on Apple TV+.
