Please secure your safety belts, as we will soon be landing Flight 828. Netflix’s intervention in 2021 prevented the cancellation of the NBC paranormal series, and now we know when it will all end. Season 4 of Manifest will release on Netflix on November 4, although just the first half (or 10 episodes) will be available at once. The lives of the people aboard a plane that vanished on takeoff and then miraculously rematerialized five years later will be followed up on in a new season of the show. We’ll have to wait a few months to find out more about Ben Stone’s (Josh Dallas) path after the stunning death and kidnapping in the Season 3 finale, but Season 4 will skip ahead two years and provide us with a completely different Ben Stone. Fans are fine with the delay since the alternative is to have the show ended abruptly without satisfying them.
They were crucial in convincing the creators of Manifest to return for a ninth and final season. After NBC cancelled the show despite its continued popularity after Season 3, creator Jeff Rake expressed his astonishment at the reaction from fans to The Hollywood Reporter. And he went on to say: It’s the first time I’ve ever had a show cancelled, and it’s also the first time the fan community has rallied around me like this. A group of dedicated fans flocked to Twitter to tell Jeff, “We got you. #SaveManifest.” Campaigning has officially begun. So, before we could do anything to figure out if we needed a PR campaign to help rescue us, the fans stepped up and made this campaign and spread the news, which was quite satisfying and encouraging.
Actors Melissa Roxburgh, J.R. Ramirez, Parveen Kaur, Luna Blaise, Holly Taylor, Ty Doran, Daryl Edwards, and Matt Long also appear in Manifest. The first episode of the series last season will debut on Netflix on November 4.
