She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Star Jameela Jamil Dons Titania Suit

Jameela Jamil, who plays She-Hulk on the TV programme, shared a video on her website that shows the extensive makeover she underwent to play the villainous Titania. Titania, a longtime adversary of She-Hulk in the comics, will make her MCU debut in the new show.
Jamil uploaded a time-lapse video on Twitter showing the process of getting ready to play Titania, the superstrong and superresistant enemy that She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) will fight in Season 1.

Jamil and her crew spend hours getting her ready to commit crimes, but we only get to see the results in 40 seconds. Curiously, Jamil does a lot of the make-up job herself in the video, which isn’t something you see very often on TV. In response to a Twitter user’s inquiry, Jamil stated, “simply like doing it, and I’m so quick so that means I get to come in an hour later and sleep more.” That’s actually a compelling argument. We could have used an additional hour in bed before reporting to work. The legal exploits of Jennifer Walters (Elizabeth Olsen), a cousin of Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, who acquires Banner’s gamma-ray superpowers through an accident, are chronicled in the 2003 film She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

In the next show, Jennifer will not only use her incredible strength and resilience as She-Hulk but also her legal savvy, to protect the rights of superheroes. Defending the Abomination, Emil Blonsky will be She-Hulk, as the show’s teasers have shown (Tim Roth). Considering Emil tried to assassinate Bruce Banner in the film The Incredible Hulk (2008), that’s a somewhat precarious assignment. Sorcerer Supreme Wong (Benedict Wong) will join the likes of the Abomination and the Hulk in returning to the MCU in the forthcoming series.

The mystery of what transpired between Wong and Abomination in their cameo appearance in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as sparring partners may be solved. Charlie Cox, who played Daredevil in the Marvel Netflix programmes, will also appear in the new series. Finally, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law promises to break the fourth wall in comic book style, a trademark of the character that predates even Deadpool. Renée Ellis Goldsberry, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, and Jon Bass also had starring roles in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The first episode of the series will air on Disney+ on Thursday, August 18.
