The 4th season of What We Do in the Shadows is begun, with the second half of the season commencing this Tuesday. Over the course of its existence, the show has taken viewers inside a variety of various settings, including the vampires’ home, the Vampiric Council’s offices, a casino, and more. FX has given fans a sneak peek at the Season 4 sets in anticipation of the next episode. The set tour gives a bit more insight into the procedures that went into producing this season’s aesthetic. The film concentrates on the three major locations introduced thus far: the utterly destroyed house, the Night Market, and Nadja’s nightclub.
Each vignette comprises small footage from the season, coupled with fragments of comments from different actors and staff. The show’s actors, including Harvey GuillĂ©n (Guillermo), Natasia Demetriou (Nadja), and Kayvan Novak (Nandor), discuss their favourite aspects of the sets and provide further context. Here, Sam Johnson, Shayne Fox, and Sarah Naftalis detail their inspirations and the processes that went into creating their work. After parting ways at the end of 3rd Season, the gang is back together for Season 4. Unfortunately for them, the house is in terrible disorder, and they don’t have the cash to renovate it.
Despite this, they go on with their separate interests. Nandor goes out to find love, reconnecting with one of his 37 wives with the assistance of a djinn. Nadja plans to start her own nightclub, with the aid of The Guide (Kristen Schaal) and her wraiths. It ends up working out after a few setbacks (so far, anyway). The responsibility of caring for the baby born within Colin Robinson’s (Mark Proksch) chest falls to Laszlo (Matt Berry). Guillermo, for his part, has been engaged in his own private romantic odyssey. Based on the film of the same name from 2014, What We Do in the Shadows is a mockumentary TV series.
And it follows a coven of vampires that have been living on Staten Island for almost a century. They have big plans to take over the area someday, but things never seem to work out the way they expect. The show’s renewal for Seasons 5 and 6 was announced earlier this year. The FX series What We Do in the Shadows airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET and is available on Hulu the following day.
