Hulu’s ‘Koala Man’ Animated Series Adds Hugh Jackman: Release Date & Other Cast Members

The voice cast for Koala Man, the streaming service’s newest animated series, has begun to take shape. Hugh Jackman has been added to the cast of the next adult animated comedy, according to the streamer. Back in March 2021, Koala Man was given an eight-episode order by the show’s creator and executive producer Michael Cusack. As Big Greg, Hugh Jackman will portray a well-liked guy in Dapto who has experienced little in his life other than prosperity. Fishing Big with Big Greg, Australia’s third most-watched fishing show, used to be hosted by Big Greg. Big Greg’s reputation in Dapto was built on the strength of his popularity.

In spite of this, Big Greg uses his newfound influence to attack his boss Kevin (Cusack), taking credit for the town’s salvation while Kevin is the one who saved Dapto in the end. From musicals like The Greatest Showman and The Boy from Oz, to X-Men blockbusters like Logan and Wolverine, to romantic comedies like Kate & Leopold, Hugh Jackman has done it all in his acting career. The actor has already appeared in Rise of the Guardians and Missing Link as a voice actor, so he knows what he’s doing. Recently, Jackman provided the voice of Big Mouth spin-off Human Resources on Netflix.

In it, he plays Dante, a self-assured and sophisticated Addiction Angel. The Son and Apostle Paul are two of Jackman’s next projects. It’s all about Kevin, a lovable koala whose only superpower is a strong desire to uphold the law in Dapto and put an end to the town’s petty criminals. No matter how regular Dapto appears, the forces of evil are always watching for an opportunity to strike at the city’s unwary residents. In the end, Koala Man is here to rescue the day for Daptonians, to the chagrin of his family and friends.

It doesn’t matter if they’re aliens or just “jerks who don’t take their waste bins down on the appropriate days,” Koala Man will stop at nothing to fight the villains responsible for the mess in town. Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez serve as showrunners for Koala Man, along with Michael Cowap and Rick and Morty’s Justin Roiland. Television Animation 20th produces. The release date of Koala Man is unknown at this time.
