Developer 343 Industries has revealed that veteran announcer Jeff Steitzer would be giving his voice to the Big Team Battle mode in Halo Infinite’s second season. As of Halo: Combat Evolved’s release in 2001, Steitzer has served as the game’s narrator since. Fans of Halo have observed that Steitzer’s voice is glaringly absent from the game’s famous Big Team Battle mode. Halo’s Big Team Battle mode has been around for a long time. There is a big competitive mode known as Big Team Battle that pits teams of 12 players against one other on larger terrain, frequently with vehicles included in the mix. Players were not shocked to see it return in Halo Infinite, as it is one of the most prevalent game modes in the Halo series.
However, the number of players on each team was increased from 8 to 12 in order to make the game more challenging. Interestingly, Jeff Steitzer’s voice did not appear on the playlist. Players were furious because they couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t included in the Big Team Battle playlist. Fortunately, 343 Industries is making amends for this blunder. Recently, Halo published an article titled “Season 1 Outcomes Report” in which the developers discussed some planned modifications that will be implemented in response to comments from the community during Season 1.
The Halo team announced that Jeff Steitzer’s voice will be used to announce player-earned medals in the Big Team Battle mode in multiplayer chats. Players of Halo Infinite were ecstatic to see Steitzer return to Big Team Battle, and their excitement was well-founded. Steitzer was previously featured in various multiplayer modes of Halo Infinite, but he will now be a part of the most popular game mode. 343 Industries is working to fix these problems and respond to player complaints, but these adjustments may still be too late. There has been a lot of criticism regarding Halo Infinite’s current status from the community.
In spite of the game’s huge popularity upon release, many gamers have lamented the absence of a battle royale option. If nothing else, one of the most popular game types in Halo Infinite has received a much-needed upgrade. The Big Team Battle mode and Jeff Steitzer are as fundamental to Halo as each other. As many players assume, the two have finally been reconciled.
