The World Trigger 4th season anime will be produced by Toei Animation, a Japanese animation studio. In Season 4 of World Trigger, the B-Rank Wars story arc will be completed, and the Expedition Selection Exam story arc will be adapted. However, how will the anime TV series’ future be affected if manga creator Daisuke Ashihara’s health problems persist?
World Trigger Season 4’s main cast is yet to be revealed. However, at least some of the original cast members will return for the fourth season. Morio Hatano, who replaced Kouji Ogawa as director, helmed the second and third seasons. If a fourth season is planned, it seems prudent to commit it to a director with Morio’s track record.
Some members of the previous season’s staff returned for the second and third seasons. Hiroyuki Yoshino, a returning writer, wrote the series (Code Geass, Magi, Strike The Blood).
Toshihisa Kaiya (Ascendance of a Bookworm, Haikyuu!! ), a returning artist, designed the characters. Kenji Kawai composed the music.
The OP (opening) and ED (ending) theme songs for World Trigger Season 4 have yet to be unveiled.
The OP “Time Factor” was sung by rock band Kami wa Saikoro o Furanai for the third season, while the ED “Yearning to Be Above the Clouds (Ungair Doukei)” was performed by Fantastic Youth.
On March 10, 2021, the first season was published in three Blu-ray sets, containing six courses and a total of 73 episodes. The anime TV series’ survival strategy appears to be based on the manga creator’s frequent hiatuses/breaks in previous years. The release date looks to have been changed on the fly, based on how the official notifications were written.
The second season, for example, appears to have been split into two halves. According to the official Twitter feed, they “decided to build a third season as the tale was broken into two half.”
According to the official Toei Animation website, the second season was originally scheduled to run for 13 episodes, but in April 2021, this was reduced to only 12 episodes.
In effect, the third season was a split-cour anime, in which a single season is taken off the air for a number of cours. In this situation, the separate courses were legally branded as independently numbered seasons. (An event comparable to this occurred when the 86 anime television series were unveiled.)
The third season’s finale, World Trigger Season 3 Episode 12, was published on December 26, 2021. For the 12 episodes, two Blu-Ray sets and four DVD volumes were released.
Predictions for the release of World Trigger 4: Is a quick turnaround in 2022 possible?
Neither Studio Toei Entertainment nor any other organization involved in the anime’s creation had officially declared the World Trigger Season 4 release date as of the most recent update. There has also been no word on a sequel to World Trigger 4. Once the news is confirmed, this site will be updated with the proper details. Meanwhile, it’s possible to speculate on when or whether World Trigger 4 will be launched.
The big moment has arrived, and Chika Amatori’s willpower is put to the test as Hyuse abandons a large-scale Meteor strike plan. Spoilers for World Trigger 4 (plot summary/synopsis) Will Tamakoma-2 be able to gain a spot on the away team by climbing to second place in the standings?
Because the overall ranking is determined by a mid-tier battle, the final battle isn’t quite the end. In the final B-Rank match, Yuba Squad will fight hard to stay in the top tier.
Chika is really excited to see the vertical Cityscape C combat because it is senior shooter Akane Hiura’s farewell match. Nasu Squad earns one crucial survival point thanks to Akane, sending them into the top-tier B-Rank for the first time!
Now that the season is over, all focus is on choosing the agents who will participate in the away assignment. Border HQ must select agents who can safely leave their squads without endangering Border; as a result, joining the away team is based on cold calculations. If these operatives are apprehended by enemy Neighbors, they will be unable to reveal any damaging Border secrets.
Two Galopoula Neighbors, Reghi and Ratarykov, plan to enter Meeden without being detected by the sensors by not wearing Trion bodies. Because the Galopoula is an Aftokrator vassal state, Yuichi Jin uses his foresight to contact them, knowing that the Neighbors’ goal is to thwart Border’s upcoming away expedition.
Jin’s goal is to forge an alliance with Galopoula because his side effect suggests that doing so in the future will benefit both Border and Galopoula. But what can Jin offer the Neighbors to persuade them to defy their Aftokrator overlords?
Tamakoma-2’s status as number two isn’t enough to get her into the expeditionary squad because the agents must pass a multi-phase away mission selection test.
Osamu Mikumo, aka “Four Eyes,” understands that this will be the most severe test he’s ever faced, and even Jin admits that the future might go either way.
Border HQ has also chosen to use the event to determine which Border members are the most powerful. As a result, their squads are being reorganized. The current teams are disbanded, and new squads with interim captains will be formed!
Unfortunately, anime fans will have to wait till World Trigger Season 4 is released to find out what happens next. Keep your eyes peeled!
