This comment by Lamar reveals something about Franklin’s destiny after the events of GTA 5. The two have remained good friends in the events of GTA 5. According to Lamar, Franklin’s Special Ability is recognized by him because of their friendship, which may explain why Lamar is the only other character in the game who does so.
