The original Tower of God three reunites after a long time of separation in order to confront White, the greatest threat to Bam’s existence.
For different reasons, the original trio of Bam, Khun Aguero, and Rak have generally remained apart since the end of Season 1 of Tower of God. They’ve either had to go on their own missions or are facing imminent death. There are times when they work together to ascend the Tower, although they don’t quarrel nearly as much as they did in Season 1.
In Season 3, Aguero’s main goal is to assist Bam in rescuing his master. This, however, proves to be far more difficult than anyone had anticipated. Fortunately, Aguero receives some unexpected assistance from his younger brother, Khun Ascensio, who has been dispatched by his sister, Khun Maschenny Jahad, to assist Bam in completing his mission. Aguero is right to be sceptical of a trap, given that Maschenny is the one who started it all by using Ha Jinsung to entice Bam to war. Nonetheless, he understands that accepting her offer is the only option to go to Bam as soon as possible, so he accepts. Khun Aguero is always eager to throw caution to the wind when it comes to Bam.
As a superb tactician, Aguero quickly assesses the scenario on the field and recognizes that Bam is battling White for dominance. Aguero dispatches his Sweetfish to assist Bam; this is the same fish that helped White collect souls during the combat at the Protective Wall. Aguero must be feeling guilty right now because he personally assisted White in regaining his full power, which White is now using to harm Bam. He also sees it as an opportunity because the fish is linked to White’s soul, and they might be able to harm White in some way.
Meanwhile, Rak, Hockney, and Kaiser are stuck playing the fishing game until Hockney notices something he wants to buy. It summons a spear bearer to the battlefield and allows him to hit a single target directly, making it ideal for use against Rak. While Rak has little understanding of what is going on, he is aware that he must assist Bam in some way. He pulls out the old spear, which he’d been saving all this time as a secret weapon. Rak wears it in a unique carrier developed by a canine scientist because it’s too hefty for him to carry all the time.
We last saw this spear during the Arc of the Canine Rebellion. The spear was once owned by the Baylord Yama, but it can only be thrown by ancient species without injuring themselves. Rak was able to toss the spear in Chapter 446 to assist clear a route for Bam and stop Baylord Doom, effectively confirming Rak’s status as a member of the ancient species. This spear was able to inflict significant damage on high-rankers Doom and Khel Hellam, indicating that it is certainly powerful enough to inflict damage on White. It’s worth noting that Rak has used this spear twice, both times for Bam.
In this chapter, it’s pleasant to see the trio working together once more. Bam’s pals are right there with him when he needs them the most. Despite the fact that they didn’t speak in this chapter, both Aguero and Rak know exactly what to do. This demonstrates that their friendship is still one of the strongest and most effective bonds in Tower of God.
