With the second Chunin examinations starting in Boruto, we will be looking into probable combat pairings as Boruto is in the spotlight once again. Unlike the manga, the anime went a bit of a detour after Ishiki’s defeat that saw more development into the leaf’s genin. So at this time, we won’t be able to know what will happen in the upcoming fights as the anime has reached the filler region that will make the manga pick up a bit more pace.
Boruto animation is almost closing in on its manga equivalent. But the impending Chunin test should slow things down and buy at least a chapter’s worth of time. Boruto had just passed what appears to be the final phases of the Chunin tests. But everyone’s happiness is cut short once they find out that only half of them will get to be Chunin.
The final battles will be disclosed on the day of the fight, so the competitors have no idea who they will be fighting for their last round. With Team 7 qualifying all of its members, there are significant possibilities that they will proceed to be Chunins unless they encounter one of their teammates.
Looking at how things have been going at this point, Boruto has proved to be strong and would definitely require a discriminating and calculative opponent to overcome him. The odd element about this is that there is no way to know what will come next since this did not happen in the manga. So it makes a terrific filler filled with loads of surprises. The manga has not revealed any of Team 7’s status at this moment and is totally focused on other events os either conclusion will still perfectly suit.
Boruto Next Generations Chunin Exams
It would be easy to confuse these tests with the earlier ones that were stopped by the Otsutsuki attack. But this time as one of the biggest threats in the anime has been dealt with. It is finally time to build capable Shinobi while Code still remains out there. According to Amado’s explanations, Code could show to be even more strong than Ishiki as he has inherited his will and powers.
With both Naruto and Sasuke out, the leaf has been left unprotected so in case of another attack of a similar scale. The Genins at their current levels would hardly do anything to adequately defend their own hamlet. So the ongoing Chunin examinations will boost their attacks and disclose weaknesses to those who have not yet acknowledged it.
Some items to note in the next Chunin exams would be based on Boruto’s development up to this point. He wants to redeem himself after what happened in the previous Chunin examinations, therefore he definitely needs to win this time. This has been made somewhat worse based on the outcome of the combat against Ishiki. So Boruto feels responsible and needs to get strong faster.
We are still not sure how the method that determines the forthcoming fights works. But it seems like the system is structured so that only half of the remaining pupils will pass. Team 7, with all of its members up to the final stage, might have caught the organizers’ notice. So it will not be fair to other teams if none of Team 7 students don’t get to encounter each other. In the upcoming show, we should be able to see which students from team seven will get to battle each other.
Who Does Boruto Fight in The Chunin Exams?
Now looking at the business of the day, there is a fair likelihood that two of team seven students will encounter each other. And a fight between Sarada and Mitsuki would not be as fascinating as both of them have been marginalized by the Ishiki’s arc. So the best way to reveal what Mitsuki and Sarada have been up to would be not to have them encounter each other in the Chunin examinations.
So Boruto will have to confront either Mitsuki or Sarada. A fight between Boruto and Mitsuki would be like a fight between brothers and might not drive Mitsuki to fight to his best owing to his reverence of Boruto. But one that might be fascinating would be a fight between Boruto and Sarada. As fellow colleagues and opponents, Sarada is the proper opponent to measure up Boruto’s growth as a Shinobi at this stage.
But should that happen, we all know that Sarada would get one on him as she is a bit unhappy that Boruto has been the center of the action while she has been sidelined. Boruto got to go to a bout that would be classed above S Rank when he fought Ishiki, and even though Sarada wanted to go, she did not get any chance. So a good method to show that even she is capable and has reached Boruto’s level would be to have her fight against Boruto.
It will be one of the fascinating bouts with very thin margins. But considering Sarada’s brilliance and Boruto’s laidback, then that is where she will have the edge. At this moment, we have never seen Boruto battle against Sarada, and it will be really exciting to see how Boruto would handle against her. Based on their jutsu nature elements, then they are the perfect opponents.
Boruto Chunin Exams Final Round
Boruto is the new generation from Naruto’s side, whereas Sarada comes from Sasuke’s side. So it is a bit of an Irony that Sasuke is Boruto’s tutor, which has stolen a limelight from Sarada. At this time, there would not be a better opponent to test both Sarada and Boruto’s developments after everything they have been going through.
Boruto has a little advantage as he has experienced actual warfare, hence he trained in actual battle. Sarad has the same from their combat with Boro, thus she is not left behind. Boruto is a simpleton and not as acute and intelligent as Sarada, and that was one reason that won Sarada being their commander when they faced Boro.
Sarada being a Chunin would be a huge help to Team 7 than Boruto making Chunin. It will be easier to select who will get to captain their team in future missions, even if it looks like both Mitsuki and Boruto would not mind having Sarada take the lead—taking this into account. Should Boruto and Sarad meet one other, the outcome will favor Sarada. She has been sidelined for too long, and it’s finally time to exhibit her development.
If Boruto and Sarada do not face one other, it will be very difficult for someone else to stop them. So it is advisable to let them take each other out so that just one of them makes it through. Mitsuki is also a capable opponent, therefore it will be very difficult to halt team 7. The higher-ups probably have a dilemma looking into this squad.
Team 7 travelled to Ishiki’s pocket dimension and managed to fight an opponent as strong as Boro and even rescued Naruto. But this was with the support of Kawaki, who had a Karma with him, so without him, in the tests, other pupils stand a decent chance as well. This has been just a conversation about what most Boruto fans would want to see. A combat between Boruto and Sarada at their current max level. There would not be a better occasion to test them than now. So let’s see how the next episode will disclose and see if we will be able to get what would be one of the best fights in Boruto so far. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 223 debuts this weekend and will give more information about the forthcoming Chunin Exams.
