As we all know, the Jujutsu Kaisen film 0 has already caused tremendous buzz among anime aficionados all over the world. Who doesn’t want to enjoy a story centered around Gojo sensei’s past?
The best part about it is, the film will be adapting Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Tokyo Toritsu Jujutsu Kōtō Senmon Gakkō.
Now, this may sound unfair to the fans who like reading. If you are one of them, don’t become offended.
The franchise will be producing a novel that will cover this arc.
A novel may not have cool animations or music, but it precisely depicts the author’s thoughts without any meddling from the production firm. Moreover, since it’s a novel, it will be more descriptive and detailed compared to the film.

Synopsis
Similar to the Jujutsu Kaisen film 0, the novel will revolve around Yuta Okkotsu, a worried high school kid with some major troubles.
He is born special from the rest and drew Gojo sensei’s notice, who eventually became his mentor.
Those who have read the manga must know how wonderful Yuta is, and his past is something that we all want to know.
Yuta’s childhood buddy, Rika, turned into a curse and decided not to leave him alone.
Now, Rika is no ordinary curse, and its distress was observed by Gojo sensei.
He urged Yuta to join Jujutsu High and work together in battling the curse that plagues him.
Since Suguru get was also included in the trailer, I am thinking that he has something to do with this mess.
Release Date of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 book
Shueisha’s Jump J books website has featured a novel version of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film.
It will sail to Japan on December 24, the same day that the film will release in Japanese theatres.

You must have understood by now that the author is none other than Gege Akutami himself.
He is credited with the original work.
Meanwhile, Baraddo Kitaguni is penning down the novel after referring to the script of Hiroshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film’s scriptwriter).

The novel will be on sale through the official website of Shueisha’s Jump J novels.
You may also buy it from any offline retailer in Japan after December 24.
Considering Jujutsu Kaisen’s success in the Western world, it’s safe to expect that Shueisha will soon make the book available globally.
Yuta Okkutsu in the Current Timeline
In the current Culling games arc, Yuta Okkutsu is the second-year student of Jujutsu High with unequaled powers.
He saved Itadori Yuuji from his execution and is currently aiding him to survive the Culling games.
He is a prodigy even among the top Jujutsu High pupils, and some of his techniques are on par with Gojo sensei.
However, unlike Gojo sensei, he runs out of cursed energy after some time.
The secret underlying his remarkable powers is inheritance.
He is a descendant of one of the three major families of Japan.
Despite having Rika’s curse erased, Yuta is still one of the five special-grade sorcerers.
The Jujutsu High recognized what a threat he may pose but couldn’t dispose of him owing to Gojo’s presence.
Now that Gojo is sealed, I don’t think they will hesitate much before going for him.
The jujutsu world is in upheaval because to Pseudo-Geto, and Yuta is one of the few sorcerers with enough power to make everything right.
About the Original Manga
Gege Akutami started the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018.
It immediately became one of the most popular ongoing manga and drew a lot of people towards its surprising tale.
Later in 2020, the manga sales soared ten-folds with the release of its anime adaptation.
The anime contains 24 episodes, and MAPPA did an excellent job in bringing these characters into the anime silver screen.
Right now, it is one of the most talked-about anime franchises, and I am very sure that its popularity will expand over time.
