About Jujutsu Kaisen 0
Jujutsu Kaisen volume 0 will cover the first arc of the manga, portraying the life of the protagonists a year ago after the events of season 1. We will get a better insight of the backstories of second-year students and an introduction of a new character. This new individual, who is also the protagonist of the movie, has been mentioned quite a few times throughout season 1. He is named Yuuta Okkotsu and is now abroad as per the information of the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen. The planned prequel movie of the anime will once again be animated by MAPPA. It will also feature members of the major actors returning to voice the characters, as was announced in the latest Jujutsu Kaisen 0 trailer.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was revealed back in March, and it was reported that the movie will be released in the winter of 2022. However, it was then reported that the Jujutsu Kaisen prequel movie will be released on 24 December 2021. This date in itself has a gigantic Easter egg concealed in it. On 27 October 2021, a new visual trailer was uploaded, which showed the key characters participating in the prequel movie. This comprises Suguru Geto, Satoru Gojo, Panda, Toge Inumaki, Maki Zenin, and Yuuta Okkotsu.
It has to be noted that the movie will only be released in Japanese theatres on 24 December.

The only teaser we have received before now was the one that came out with the very first announcement of the movie. Fans were loving the character designs via it till the developers of Jujutsu Kaisen put in the official teaser of the movie. The Jujutsu Kaisen movie teaser came out on 4 November 2021.
The trailer shows us quick looks of all the key characters, and we can see how different their character designs appear in order to fit Akutami sensei’s designs from his prequel book. We notice Inumaki’s hair tied up and Gojo Satoru in white blindfolds. Furthermore, we hear the voices of Yuuta Okkotsu and Rika for the first time.
In addition to the ongoing voice cast, the anime has freshly cast Kana Hanazawa for the voice of Rika. The clip also indicates that the movie’s theme song would be “Itto” by King Gnu.

Yuuta is plagued by his childhood buddy Rika’s spirit. When she becomes materialized into a terrible soul, she starts defending Yuuta by injuring his bullies. Thus Yuuta wishes to be isolated. However, Satoru Gojo urges him to learn and manage Rika and so defend people. Now starting Jujutsu High as a first-year, Yuuta must learn how to handle Rika.
