The next chapter of Dragon Ball Super will feature a confrontation between Goku, Vegeta, Granaloah, and the arc’s true enemies, as depicted in the preview sketches.
Preview pictures for Dragon Ball Super have been published, and they give a glimpse as to who Goku, Vegeta, and Granola will be up against in the upcoming film.
THE FOLLOWING ARE SPOILERS FOR DRAGON BALL SUPER:
It appears from the preview photos on the series’ official website that the wicked Heeters have successfully collected all of the Dragon Balls on the planet and have summoned a Dragon Dragon that appears to be more amphibian-like in appearance than the dragons from Earth or Namek. Granolah and his mother were attacked by Saiyans many years ago, and it was revealed in the previous part of the series that Bardock, Goku’s long-forgotten biological father, was the one who saved them. In addition to realising that he has been fighting the son of his saviour the entire time, Granolah realises that the Heeters were the ones responsible for the death of his mother. Granolah appears to be coming to grips with these facts in the teaser photos, but his reconciliation with Goku and Vegeta is cut short when the sky darkens and the heroes realise that the dragon has already been called, as shown in the trailer.
According to the official summary, the following will take place in the future chapter:
Having been beaten and bloodied in their epic struggle, Goku and his friends are about to have the rug ripped out from under them! But what will the Heeters desire for now that they have successfully unlocked the power of the Dragon Balls?
It was originally planned that Granolah would serve as the major antagonist for this arc, but like Piccolo, Vegeta, and Broly before him, it appears that the former villain would now serve as one of Goku’s friends in this battle. Given that the Heeters’ wish isn’t revealed in the preview, fans are speculating as to whether they’ll follow in Granolah’s footsteps and seek for power to match the Saiyan warriors, or whether they’ll have something more nefarious on their minds. Fans will have to wait until November 20th to find out the answer, as Chapter 78 will be released on that date.
Dragon Ball Super is the most recent instalment in Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball series, which began over 40 years ago in 1984 with the original Dragon Ball. Toyotarou, a self-taught artist who has been directly designated by Toriyama as his formal successor, will be drawing the new manga chapter. The first two arcs of the still-running manga were turned into a televised anime series by Toei Animation that aired from 2015 to 2018 on the Japanese television network NHK. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, a new computer-animated film based on the popular anime series, will be produced sometime in 2022 to continue the series’ legacy. Dragon Ball Super: Broly is set several years after the events of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and the film will reportedly centre on Goku’s granddaughter, Pan, who is now a few years older and has been receiving martial arts training from Piccolo in the same way that her father Gohan did during the first half of the Dragon Ball Z anime.
