One horrific Jujutsu Kaisen costume is demonstrating exactly how nasty of a fighter Toji Fushiguro can be! The first season of the anime created some huge waves with action fans across the world, and it was so popular that the anime is continuing with a new feature film later this year in Japan. But although this feature film is obviously thrilling, there’s an even larger anticipation for the anime to come back with a complete second season. It’s because this second season will include some of the series’ hardest hitters and biggest bouts.
One character on the edge of an official anime debut is Toji Fushiguro, one of the more fascinating presences in the manga following the events of the anime’s first season. He makes his entrance in the next arc of the series following the struggle against the Death Painting Wombs, so it wouldn’t be so far into a notional second season of the anime. But since it’s such a lengthy wait, fans are taking Toji into their own hands such as artist @ponpon.cosplay bringing the brutal warrior to life with some fantastic cosplay on Instagram! Check it out below:
While a second season of the anime has yet to be revealed or even confirmed to be planned, it would undoubtedly be a nice thing for fans considering how much would be handled with those fresh episodes. The seeds have been laid in the first season for the big conflict coming in a hypothetical second season, and those seeds will begin to bloom even more so with the imminent release of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film in Japan. Because while that could be a prequel, it actually addresses some significant questions.
Not only does it clear up some facts about the past, but also lays the stage for those huge events coming in a second season of the series. These would include fighters like Toji as well as some other important new players that have also yet to make their debut. It makes the future of the franchise all the more interesting, and fans can find out more of that future with Gege Akutami’s original manga series being presently accessible to read through Viz Media’s digital Shonen Jump collection.
