Black Clover eventually brought Yami back to the story for a massive and emotional reunion with the cliffhanger from its newest chapter! The Spade Kingdom Raid storyline has reached its culmination with the current string of chapters of Yuki Tabata’s original manga series, and the Black Bulls have now all united in one spot. It’s at exactly the perfect time too since the Advent of Qliphoth is still proceeding much quicker owing to Lucifero latching onto Moris as a new host, and Yami’s life is more in danger than ever as the ritual proceeds.
The last chapter ended on the big cliffhanger that not only reunited the whole Black Bulls squad for the first time since before the wars against the Spade Kingdom’s Dark Triad originally began, but had them all in precisely the proper spot in order to save Yami. The newest chapter of the book takes this beautiful reunion moment even farther with an even more dramatic comeback as the last scenes of the chapter formally brings back Yami to the narrative as he wakes up within the Advent of Qliphoth in response to his squad’s pleas.
Chapter 313 of the story takes up shortly after Asta and the complete Black Bulls squad storm their way into the chamber Yami and Vangeance are being kept for the Advent of Qliphoth. We get a glance into what’s been going on in Yami’s thoughts as he’s experienced this ritual, and he’s been reflecting back on his history with the Clover Kingdom and his desire to reunite his squad together. He’s always been considered as a threat because to his dark powers, but it’s the reverse for his squad who only views him with heartfelt affection.
Hearing all of their screams for them, Yami eventually wakes up and replies “What, you people like me that much?” and the Black Bulls answer with, “Yes, sir, we adore you!!!!” Yami assures them that it’s mutual and he grins as the narrative comes to a conclusion. It’s still too early to rejoice as he’s still very much within the ritual and it’s impossible to know exactly how close the gates of the underworld are to truly opening and liberating the real Lucifero in their realm. But for now, it’s time to enjoy the big event.
