The manga series “Kakegurui Twin,” written by Homura Kawamoto and based on the Kakegurui franchise, will be adapted into an anime series in April 2022. It was revealed at the Netflix Festival Japan 2021 that the anime adaptation of the manga “Kakegurui Twin” will be created by Studio Mappa and will be released in 2020. The series will premiere on Netflix in April 2022 and will be available for streaming for the first time.
Yumeko will be at Hyakkaou Academy for a year after she graduates from high school. Despite being born into a fairly ordinary family, Mary Saotome has successfully completed the transfer exams. She begins attending Hyakkaou Academy, but quickly discovers that her dream school is not what she had imagined.
The events of Kakegurui Twin occur one year before the events of the main manga series. Kakegurui Twin is a manga series written and illustrated by Homura Kawamoto and Kei Saiki. It is a prequel series to Kakegurui, written and illustrated by Toru Naomura, and it is set before the events of Kakegurui.
The serialisation of the series began in 2015 with the publication of Square Enix’s Gangan Joker magazine.
The main Kakegurui series has already gotten two anime seasons produced by Mappa Studio, the first of which was released in 2012. In Japan, a live-action television series premiered in January 2018 and is currently airing.
While fans wait for the announcement of season 3, they may look forward to a spinoff series that will air after season 3.
