After seeing the previous episodes, Invasion Episode 4 has sparked a lot of interest amongst the audience. The reason we use the term “episodes” is that the first three episodes of the season were released at the same time as the show’s launch. There are other other shows that have recently followed this releasing pattern, so it is not entirely unique. As long as the public likes the first few episodes, they’ll eagerly await the next ones, which has proven to be successful.
One of the most popular subgenres in American television is science fiction, which has a devoted following in the United States and abroad. As a bonus, viewers have long been intrigued by the idea of aliens or extraterrestrials overtaking Earth. As a result, this show has a chance of succeeding. However, the show’s growth and popularity have only been ordinary so far. An average of 5.8 out of 10 is given to the show on IMDB. On Rotten Tomatoes, it gets a rating of just 36% from the reviewers.
However, it’s crucial to keep in mind that these are only estimates based on reviews from a relatively tiny sample of the total number of viewers. Because of this, it is premature to pass judgement on the show at this point. The show’s creators are well-known British filmmaker Simon Kinberg and actor David Well. Along with the rest of the team, they serve as co-executive producers on the show. Now that we’ve covered the first three episodes of Invasion, let’s have a look at the fourth one.
Recap of the First Episode of Invasion
The first episode of Invasion, titled “Last Day,” was released on October 22nd, 2021. As the show began, we saw Jim, the sheriff, on duty for the final time. When he receives a call reporting a car theft, he immediately goes to speak with the victim. After seeing an enormous gap between the cornfields, though, he steps outside to investigate. He discovers the stolen truck there, but something doesn’t add up: the suspects didn’t take any cash. Thousands of insects rush at the sheriff and his police, as though fleeing from something or other.
In the next scene, we find a woman named Aneesha enjoying her life in New York City with her loving family. As it turns out, Luke, Aneesha’s son, is the only one in his class who does not begin to bleed from their noses. Rushing to her daughter and son’s hospital, she brings them back to her house. When she discovers that her husband, Manny, had an affair, things grow even worse for her.
The second individual we meet is Mitsuki, a Tokyo resident whose girlfriend Hinata has just left for a space mission. When Hinata’s spaceship is attacked by an unknown object, the astronauts are flung into space, and things quickly go from bad to worse. While in Aneesha’s house, Manny and Aneesha dispute about his affair, but then the lights go out and everything shakes. Finally, we return to Idaho, where Sheriff Jim is having a farewell party. However, he quits the party in the midst and returns to the same hole in the cornfield he went to earlier in the episode.
Trying to discover what’s peculiar about this spot, he’s assassinated from behind by something as he investigates. Finally, a bizarre transparent ship is seen floating over the gaping void in the atmosphere.
It’s time for a recap of the second episode of Invasion.
Crash, the second episode of Invasion, premiered on October 22nd, 2021. The beginning of the episode took place in the past, before the events of the first episode. In the beginning, we met Aneesha and her family, who were frightened as they looked out of their window. As a result of recent explosions in the area, all local cell phone coverage has been disrupted. Manny, Aneesha’s husband, stepped outside to see what had transpired.
A schoolboy in London named Casper was the focus of this episode, which began a school trip with his buddies.
In the next scene, we see Trevante in Afghanistan, in the base camp of the US military. It was clear that everyone was having a good time. Once in Japan, we witnessed Mitsuki go about her daily routine without the help of Hinata, who had already recorded daily notes for her.
However, her boss at JASA, the Japanese Aeronautical Space Administration, called her right away with an urgent matter. When she realised that JASA had lost communication with the spaceship departing for the space station, things only became worse for her.
Hinata had been killed by a collision with a nearby object, and the rest of the ship’s passengers were also killed. On the other hand, we witnessed scorching fireballs dropping from the sky in front of the school bus. As a result, the bus ended up in a large pit alongside the road. In the meantime, Luke the son of Aneesha screamed in the house because he was continually hearing a word in his head. ‘Wajo’ was the correct spelling. After that, we see Trevante leading his team on a search for one of their teams. However, they all get caught in a sand storm while searching for the squad, but Trevante rescues them out. It appears to be an alien ship when they emerge, so they open fire.
The ship, on the other hand, manages to vaporise them all.
Episode 3 of Invasion recap
On October 22nd, 2021, the third episode of Invasion, named “Orion,” was released.
After the attack, Trevante was left alone in the desert of Afghanistan. Through the military truck’s microphone, he tried to call his missing colleagues, but he didn’t get a response. Aneesha, on the other hand, drove recklessly to get her family out of town. Strange things are happening all around the city, and people are running for their lives.
A bunch of schoolchildren whose truck has fallen into a large hole in the earth is the next thing we see. Their instructor, who was driving, was seriously hurt. All of the children escaped with minor injuries. Caspar enlists the support of a fellow student to assist his teacher. But two of his peers begin to harass and blame him for the disaster.
This time, Mitsuki goes up against his employer to acquire access to the server room in Japan.
With the help of the crew, she tries to find out what happened to Hinata. They’re trying to figure out a way inside the room to arrest her while they’re at it. As weird events continue to occur around the world, we see all of the individuals striving to maintain their own lives. A motel is where Aneesha and her family will be staying, while Trevante will be getting some help with his wound from a Middle Eastern man. The kids are also attempting to make it through the night in the smashed-up truck.
In the end, Mitsuki and Kaito find a voice that spelled “Wajo” as the spaceship was being attacked.
