Megumi gets trapped by Remi, and Yuji meets the sorcerer they’ve been hunting for in Chapter #163 of Jujutsu Kaisen. Megumi Fushiguro and Yuji Itadori searched for Hiromi Higuruma ever since they entered the Culling Game because the latter had already amassed a total of 100 points. They intend to take advantage of his points in order to implement a new rule in the game.
Because it would avoid Tsumiki from having to engage in the sorcerers who have just awakened Cursed Techniques, it would be a great service to the family. To find Higuruma in the last episode, Yuji and Megumi requested a new Culling Game participant for assistance. Both Megumi and Yuji enquired with Amai and Remi, but the newcomers gave them conflicting information. One of them was tricked into a trap, as shown in Chapter #163, and ends up meeting a completely different sorcerer as a result.
Megumi was the one who was tricked into falling for the trap. Remi led him to Reggie, a second sorcerer, despite his warnings that she wouldn’t deceive him again. In either case, Megumi’s powers as a sorcerer are being underestimated by Remi. Megumi seemed unconcerned in any case, merely enraged at Remi for wasting his time in the first place.
Even as Amai brings Yuji to Higuruma, Jujutsu Kai explains in flashback how the two initially met. During middle school, Rin Amai was a regular attendee of a clique of bullies, however it doesn’t appear he was one of them. They were the only ones who could protect him from being a victim of them or any other groups like them, so he persisted with them.
To avoid injuring their pride and becoming their target, he decided to simply chuckle and go along with whatever they said. Yuji arrived up one day while Amai’s gang was bullying someone and intervened. While Amai was originally sceptical, Yuji proved him wrong when the bullies were dealt with by beating them to a pulp. Similarly, Amai’s status in middle school mirrors his first appearance in the Culling Game.
He was a pawn of Haba and Hanyu, following their orders so he could be part of a group and avoid being targeted as an individual. Yuji discovers Higuruma sitting in a bathtub full of water on stage in an auditorium while dressed to the nines. It appears that he no longer cares much about anything, and he is now challenging himself by doing new things he previously believed he should not. There is no doubt about it: killing people is one of them.
Higuruma humorously reacts to Yuji’s request to speak by saying that since he is a lawyer, it will cost him 5,000 yen every half hour. By analysing Higuruma’s actions, Yuji concludes that he is a modern sorcerer. Asked Higiruma whether they could use his 100 points to add a rule that reduces the need to murder each other. Higuruma declines right away, citing the Culling Game’s unique possibilities as his justification.
Laws can be ineffective at times, but the rules of the Culling Game are different. Natural law punishes those who defy the rules of the game without the need for prosecution or trial. Although he agrees that the rules have weaknesses, he nevertheless wants to preserve the Culling Game’s core elements. Because of this, he is unable to make the game finish immediately.
So Yuji warns Higuruma that the entire Culling Game is a ceremony and that everyone in Japan would perish if they wait too long to witness the eradication of the Cursed Technique. Despite Higuruma’s misgivings, Yuji is perplexed by the Culling Game’s celebration of permanency.
What was Yuji’s query turned into an order by demanding Higuruma allow them to spend his 100 points. Higuruma finally gets out of the tub and prepares to face the enemy. Is this the first time you have killed someone who annoyed you? Is this the first time you have killed someone who annoyed you? As a result of Higuruma’s development in Jujutsu Kaisen, the buildup to meeting him, and the stakes involved, this will be a stressful encounter.
