Jujutsu Kaisen is back in full force after a one-week vacation. We finally get to watch Itadori and Reiji Higuruma go toe-to-toe in this week’s instalment, Tokyo Colony 1 – Part 4. Also in this week’s issue, the manga artist, George Akutami, reassures us about the unexplained delay that occurred last week. My illness began after I received my second vaccine injection. “I’m very sorry for making everyone else wait,” I said.
Because it wasn’t an emergency, we were able to visit this talented author again after only a week’s absence. Thanks to Gege Akutami, please buy Jujutsu Kaisen to support him and his incredible storey.
Recap of Chapter 163
Rin Amai, a player in the Culling Game, was introduced to Yuji in the current chapter of JJK. We witness Rin and a group of bullies ganging up on a kid as Rin recalls his high school lifestyle in a flashback. If you just grin and go with the flow while the others are ganging up on someone, he says as you watch, good things will happen. Itadori, who was in middle school at the time, intervenes and instructs the bullies to stop harassing one other.
Next up, we get to see Itadori wipe the floor with the bullies in the next several panels. A terrified Rin watches on with horror. Itadori and Megumi are each being escorted to meet Higuruma by their respective “guides” in the present time. Remi takes Megumi to an apartment complex, while Rin goes to a theatre to watch Itadori perform.
As it turns out, Remi is the traitor who kidnapped Megumi and brought her to her master.
Angry at Remi for wasting his time, Megumi tells them both to shut up as he prepares to fight. While Higuruma is bathing in a tub with his clothes on in the middle of the stage, Itadori does come across him. That’s not going to happen, Higuruma tells Itadori when he asks for his points to change the rule. And thus the two prepare to engage in a savage duel.
Spoilers for Chapter 164
The spoilers for chapter 164 are here, so let’s get started. Some raws for the future chapter have already been released, thus you’ve been warned about spoilers below. After 163 left us hanging, both fighters are ready to go toe-to-toe in their duel to the death. With that said, as we learned in the preview of this chapter.
Itadori is waiting for Higuruma to unleash the first strike, urging himself to be ready for anything comes his way.
Higuruma attacks with a domain expansion when he accomplishes the most unexpected things. Itadori tries to get a hit in on his opponent before he activates his cursed technique, but he fails miserably. Higuruma explains that neither of them can use violence in this environment, and that’s why he was late or missed.
There is a judge named Judgeman who begins reading down Yuji Itador’s “crimes.” Underage gambler Itadori Yuji entered the gaming business Maji Vegas in Sendai, Japan, on September 16, 2017. Afterwards, Higuruma tells to Itadori that Judgeman knows all about the two people inside the domain expansion. An envelope packed with quotations is sent to Higuruma, even though he is not informed of this. He goes on to explain that the evidence is of little use to the judge because he relies solely on the statements of the two participants.
To gain a not guilty from Judgeman you must first present your case and clear up any lingering concerns you may have. We then see a flashback of Tengen and Itadori together.
The point at which Tengen reveals to our hero how domain expansions in the past differed from those in the present day. In Higuruma’s domain extension, when rules are applied to both sides, the must-hit requirement remains the same.
There are three ways for Itadori to respond to Higuruma’s domain extension rules: silence, denial, or confession. Both sides will have one opportunity to name their claim. This will be followed by a Judegman’s judgement or criminal code for the accused. Higuruma’s proof easily disproves Itadori’s assertion that he is innocent, thus he lies.
Itadori is subsequently sentenced to confiscation by the Judgeman, who deems him guilty.
The two then return to the real world after the domain expansion stops. Trying to use his cursed energy to deflect Higuruma’s larger gravel, Itadori learns he can’t. No cursed energy to shield him from the attack. As the storey ends, Itadori is left to wonder what to do after surviving the attack.
Itadori has no choice but to use his Sukuna’s cursed energy now that Itadori’s cursed energy has been confiscated. We haven’t seen this since the Shibuya arc, so it’ll be fascinating to see how it plays out. Do you think Sukuna has evolved, and if so, how much more powerful do you anticipate him to be? Comment below and tell us what you think.
When Is It Out?
It has been confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen 164 will be released on November 8th, 2021. I doubt there will be any delay in the manga’s release because it had a one-week sabbatical last week. In the meanwhile, there has been no notice of delays, but we will be sure to keep you updated.
