The second season of “Dr. Stone,” a Japanese animated series, ended in March, and the final arc has just begun. Based on the Japanese manga series of the same name, the show premiered on TMS Entertainment in July. Senku Ishigami, a brilliant young scientist, wants to bring society back to life after being frozen for 3,700 years.
In addition to Toonami, the anime was broadcast on several other channels, including BS 11, KBS, MX, and SUN. Dr. Stone has a significant fan base due to its intriguing futuristic premise, and the manga anime series’ third season premiere generated quite a commotion.
‘Dr. Stone’ returned for a second season in early 2021 after a two-year hiatus. According to Gizmo Story, the Japanese anime series will return for a third season in the summer of 2022, if reports are to be believed.
Dr. Stone’s season 3 has also received an official teaser, which can be seen below. As a result, the new season is exciting, providing viewers with a glimpse into the series’ seafaring exploits.
Season 3 of “Dr. Stone” has yet to get an official announcement regarding its release date. Although the teaser was already posted, the official release should be coming shortly now that the teaser was released.
There will be no major changes to the cast of characters from “Dr. Stone,” except for a few minor ones. Senku and Taiju will be portrayed by Yusuke Kobayashi and Makoto Furukawa in the Japanese adaptation. Senku will be played by Aaron Dismuke in the English dub, while Ricco Fajardo will play Taiju.
The other roles in the English dub will be portrayed by actors Felecia Angelle, Brandon McInnis, and Brittany Lauda, among other talents.
The Japanese version will feature Manami Numakura, Ayumu Murase, and Gen Sato. In addition, new characters and voice performers are on the way, although they haven’t been confirmed just yet.
According to Alpha News Call, the plot of “Dr. Stone” season 3 will be based on the manga series’ chapter Age of Exploration.
Senku and his companions set sail for the seven seas, searching for answers to the evil that has befallen humanity. In Season 3, we’ll find out if they’re successful or not in saving humankind.
The series’ central mystery revolves around Senku’s discovery that someone on the moon he has dubbed the “Why-Man” was the source of the petrification. It’s been clear to everyone that this enigma is getting closer and closer to an answer every day.
This week’s release of Chapter 212 of the series heralds the start of the series’ final arc. The “Final Part: Stone to Space” arc has Senku and the rest of the world preparing to make a space mission to meet the Why-Man on the moon and learn why they were petrified in the first place.
It’s safe to say that when a small group of people embarks on a historic mission, the series’ ultimate mystery will be revealed.
On October 3rd, the show will go on hiatus. No new chapter will be made available until Inagaki and Boichi have finished their research.
So instead, Chapter 213 of the series will be released on October 10th, returning the series’ final arc to its intended course. As fans have seen throughout the last few arcs, Senku and the others have traveled the world to gather the resources and labor force needed for such a vast project.
