Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun (literally, Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory) is a romantic comedy ecchi anime that follows 12-year-old Koushi Nagumo, who is abandoned by his father when their house burns down due to a freak event. An fatigued and hungry adolescent collapses on the street since he has nowhere else to go.
He is fortunate enough to be taken to Megami-ryou by a young college student called Mineru, where Koushi eventually takes the position of dormitory mother. He has no idea, however, that he will be staying with a group of outlandish college girls who have no sense of propriety. The anime began on July 14, 2021, and was based on the manga series of the same name by Ikumi Hino.
The anime was panned because of the lack of depth in the characters and plot, but many people enjoyed the comedic episodes and found them to be a fun way to kill time. Fans are now wondering if their favorite characters will be back on TV when the first season concludes. Interested in knowing the same thing? We’ve got you covered, thanks to our efforts.
The release date for Mother of the Goddess’s Dormitory Season 2
Season 1 of ‘Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory’ premiered on July 14, 2021, on Tokyo MX, AT-X, and other Japanese stations. In total, there were twelve episodes in the series before it came to an end on the 15th of September, 2021. It was animated by Asread, under the direction of Shunsuke Nakashige, with Masashi Suzuki serving as the show’s head writer.
We now have all the information we have on the second harem ecchi anime. The show has yet to be renewed for a second season by Studio Asread. Because no one engaged in the anime’s production has given any hints concerning the next episode, the show’s future is as yet unclear. Before renewing a series, the anime production committee pays close attention to the original material, which is one of the most important elements.
The first season was announced just one day before the manga’s fifth volume was released, hence it only adapts the first four chapters of the series’ story. Even so, the manga’s current run is just seven volumes long, and until the eighth or ninth volumes are released, it’s unlikely that the series will be continued. Until the end of 2021 or mid-2022, if the book series follows its usual publishing schedule, there won’t be enough new material.
As a result, the eagerness of the followers will most likely be short-lived. As a result of the show’s excellent ratings and respectable audience size, there is a significant probability it will be renewed. Season 2 of ‘Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory’ is likely to arrive by the end of 2023 if the previously mentioned criteria are taken into account.
Plot Summary for Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory Season 2
Atena knits Koushi a pair of gloves in the season 1 finale since he’s having a hard time adjusting to the freezing weather. Even though the mother of the dorm wants to prepare a special supper for everyone, Koushi, who has a fever, collapses while he goes grocery shopping.
The sisters decide to look after him, although they frequently make matters worse inadvertently. Even as Atena prepares food for Koushi, he collapses once more, frightening the other dorm girls.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Atena takes care of him by herself, nursing him for the duration of her stay in her house. She also admits that she really values his presence in the dormitory and ends up sleeping next to him as a result of it.
Koushi will accompany the girls to their college’s marathon tournament in season 2 to provide moral support and encouragement. Some of them will take part in the competition, but the majority will be cheering them on from the sidelines. Furthermore, it’s expected that the next episode will go into further depth about Koushi’s time at school.
While her feelings for the protagonist grow, Sutea will make sure the other dorm females stay away from him. Still baffled by their feelings for one other, Atena and Koushi might be learning more and more about each other as time goes on.
