Boruto notices that the boy is giving them a difficult time; he showed him the mark on his hand to cooperate with them. The boy asks Boruto why he has Karma and Mitsuki is surprised that it is called Karma. Delta is surprised why that boy has Karma, and Koji wonders what will happen when there are two Karmas. The boy thinks that they’re messing with him they work for Kara.
After Boruto and company find an unconscious Kawaki, the two Karmas’ proximity gives both Boruto and Kawaki immense physical pain. This wakes the latter up. Initially, Kawaki thinks that Boruto and others are trackers sent by Kara. Konohamaru speaks up, explaining that he is a Shinobi from Konohagakure, and tells Kawaki that he has to come with them.
When the boy wanted to battle with Team 7, Garo arrives. Garo fires some cannon and apologizes for interrupting the show. He said he is taking back everyone, and they will promote him. Konohamaru finds that the boy is the vessel. Boruto realizes that he is also the vessel since he has Karma. The boy started to fight with Garo, and Boruto saw that he is powerful. The boy’s name has not yet been revealed to Team 7, but Garo’s side knows his name as Kawaki.

At a short distance, Delta joins Koji atop a tree branch and watches as the scene unfolds. Boruto tries to placate Kawaki by showing him his own Karma, but it further aggravates the other youth. However, right before a fight is about to break out, Garo arrives and attacks Kawaki. In episode 189, a battle between Garo and Kawaki might take place. Boruto might gain more information about his Karma.
Jigen comments that Koji is an intelligent man; something might have captured his eyes. Delta talked about the vessel that they have lost. She gets angry and kicks the table Jigen used his power and summons another table. He told her that he has not finished enjoying his lunch. Jigen also told her that the vessels would return to them soon; she must not worry about it. He said that if she wants to join the mission, she can go.
