A very close arrival might be expected. The first episode of Spy x Family Season 1 Part 2 will be released soon, and on September 15, the Tokyo-based distribution company TOHO posted on their official YouTube channel a brand-new trailer that teases the next predicament to be faced by the Forgers in anticipation of the return of the most peculiar and adorable family in recent anime history. Spy x Family is an original manga series by Tatsuya Endo that was adapted to television by Wit Studio and CloverWorks. The series follows the Forger family, who seem to be your average middle-class folks, except that dad Loid (Takuya Eguchi) is a spy, mom Yor (Saori Hayami) is an assassin, and teen daughter Anya (Atsumi Tanezaki) has psychic powers.
It’s also worth noting that they’ve just recently met, that no one knows the others’ secrets (save for Anya) and that they’re trying to pass themselves off as a normal Berlin working-class family, with varying degrees of success. In the last episode of season 1, “Penguin Park,” the secrets of the Forgers were still unknown. What about in the sequel, though?
More information about Loid’s next assignment was revealed in the latest teaser than in the one published in late June. Episode 13’s title, “Stop the Terrorist Bombing Attack,” was already public knowledge, and the teaser gives a taste of the action and events that will surround this terrorist danger.
The so-called bomb dogs, in particular a large white fluffy one, are one of the most intriguing aspects of this forthcoming operation, and they were already previewed in the penultimate episode of part 1, “Stella.” Based on Anya’s telepathic powers, we learn that this dog can see the future and that Loid will be killed in an explosion, as shown in the promotional video. Anya is well aware that she must find a solution to this problem if her father is to be saved. Before its April release, Toho announced in December that Spy x Family will really consist of two parts.
Kazuhiro Furuhashi is the show’s director; Kazuaki Shimada creates the characters; Akane Fushihara is the DP; Akari Sait is the editor, and Shji Hata is in charge of the sound. It has been announced that the debut date for the second season of Spy x Family will be October 1. Part 1 has 12 episodes and may be viewed in their entirety on Crunchyroll or Hulu.
